This is the only vacation rental on Anna Maria's only natural spring-fed lake — a quiet, private body of water in the heart of Holmes Beach where ospreys call to each other overhead and the sunsets reflect off the water from your back balcony. The fishing dock in the backyard puts you directly on the lake. The brand new private pool is steps away.

Enter through the yellow front door into an open living and dining layout with two sliding glass doors that bring the lake view inside. The balcony has a grill — the right setup for cookouts with the water in front of you. The back porch overlooks the lake and pool, furnished with comfortable patio seating for the evenings.

Two bedrooms sleep five. The master suite has a king bed, a large walk-in closet, and an en-suite bathroom with a soaking tub and shower combination — the right end to a sandy beach day, especially for kids. The in-unit washer and dryer is in the master walk-in closet. The second bedroom has a queen bed with ample closet space and a stone walk-in shower just outside the door. The living room sleeper sofa handles the fifth guest.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and everything needed for full meals at home. Two blocks to the Gulf — close enough for daily beach trips, far enough to feel genuinely removed from the tourist activity when you want quiet.

Palm View Lakehouse requires a one-week minimum stay.

credit cards for final payment with a 3% fee on the balance due

You are vacationing in a residential area, please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property. Quiet hours are observed from 10 PM to 7 AM.

"Everthing was perfect. It was clean, it was cozy, it was pretty, the communication was great....what shall I say? I would stay here again. For us little swimmer is the pool a little bit too small, but for this house and the location - perfect. They did a great job with this doublex. Lovely. Thank you for everything!

The perfect vacation home

"We loved this house. It was incredibly quiet (we never heard street noise or neighbors indoors), it was super clean, comfy beds, excellent location. The pool and dock were wonderful. The rental agency was probably the best we have ever dealt with. They were super helpful, a couple of hiccups due to scheduled HVAC maintenance and a broken coffee maker, were quickly resolved and they were very kind to us. We will definitely rent this again.

"We could not want for more. Palmview Lake House exceeded our expectations! It was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The cocktail pool was so nice, and my husband really enjoyed fishing from the dock in the morning before we started our day. The house is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, and beach equipment (including a wagon to carry everything) was also provided. The location is perfect, so close to everything! We can't wait to go back! Thank you for thinking of everything! It made for a very memorable vacation, and we can't wait for our next vacation here!

"This was by far one of our best vacations ever. The cocktail bar was the perfect way to cool off (yes, it's heated) and relax. We did a lot of sight seeing, eating out (although having a a kitchen cut down on that cost as we cooked several meals also). We swam, ate, shopped, fished (a lot) and just relaxed and enjoyed the natural beauty surrounding us. The beautiful Lakehouse was impeccably decorated, Grace and Mike went above and beyond to make our stay amazing!

Very Convenient Anna Maria Rental

"This was a lovely house. We’ll thought out amenities, including beach equipment. We were a short walk from the beach which made daily trips effortless. The pool was beautiful and so convenient for a quick swim when we weren’t quite ready to head to the beach. The location was great, right across from the free trolley stop and within walking distance to The Ugly Grouper and ice cream! Overall we had a great time and look forward to our next trip back to Anna Maria Island!

"Ok, if you want a high rise vacation with a lot of OTHER people’s kids running around between your legs and front desk clerks not doing their job when you just want to get in your room and relax, then this isn’t the right vacation spot for you. This 2 bedroom get away is that a “get away” but id say, it’s way way much more. You can really tell the people who own it care about what they do, and want their tenants to relax. That is the key word for vacation right? ☺️ I’m definitely coming back, it’s a short 2 blocks from the beach, its nice that way, you are away from all of the hustle and bustle from all that, and to boot, you are on a main road to get to everything within walking distance! In conclusion, you are looking for a get away, you must need one if you are reading this far right? Take 15 minutes longer and look through the website if you haven’t already! But really, have a great vacation wherever you end up choosing !

Amazing!

"Such a beautiful place! Ended up with a lot of rain but we still got in 4 bike rides and lots of fresh seafood. We had a very relaxing time that was only made better by being in a home that left us wanting for nothing. Island Rental did a superb job in keeping us informed when a bad storm was brewing. Perfect Sister’s Trip

"A perfect last minute trip with my sister. This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed at Palm View Lake House and will not be the last. The place continues to improve. The pool is new and amazing providing shade and sun. The owners thought of every need we could possible have with beach equipment, every kitchen amenity and blankets to curl up with in the evening to watch some movies just to name a few. October & November are the perfect time to visit AMI, not much traffic, no wait or little wait at restaurants and still warm enough to enjoy the beach and the pool.

"Stayed here for a week and had a great time! The place looks just as good in person as in the pictures, and the furnishings were comfortable and cozy. The lake-view pool in the backyard was a great way to wind down in the afternoon. I also loved the location; it's just blocks from the beach and quite close to plenty of great dining and hangout spots, but there's also a trolley stop right across the street as well. Would definitely stay here again

"We had so much fun here and it is exactly like the photos! We hung out in the pool in the evenings after walking back from watching the sunset on the beach, and sat on the deck with our coffee in the morning! It was so fun to watch the wildlife in the lake. This adorable place was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The next time I come here, I am definitely staying at Palm View Lake House again!

"The place was exactly as seen the pictures. The rental company & owners were very accommodating & commutation was timely. We didn’t want to leave & fortunately we’re able to extend our stay. The restaurants were so close. We also got a golf cart, which was awesome to drive around. Absolutely loved our stay!

Cozy, clean space right next to the beach

"The property was super close to the beach which made it really easy to walk to the beach. The property was clean with brand new furnishings and looks like it was all newly remodeled. There was a nice big balcony to hang out on and grill if you’d like. Would for sure recommend and visit again!

"This beautiful home is the perfect place to enjoy AMI. The kitchen and bath are updated with top-of-the-line finishes – I loved the pebbled floor in the shower! The beachy décor is so clean and fresh. Just a short walk to the Holmes Beach, made easy with the oversized wagon, beach chairs and cooler provided. After a fun day at the beach, we enjoyed some slow down time, relaxing on the back deck overlooking Spring Lake before catching the free trolley to a wide variety of restaurants and shops. Definitely a place where I would stay again!

Beautifully Updated & Close to the Beach

"Amazing week in this beautifully renovated, fully stocked house. Great deck off the back with a view of the lake, perfect place to sit and enjoy morning coffee. Short walk to the beach with a beach wagon and chairs that were provided with house. A stop for the free trolley is just across the street, making it so easy to get around the island. Would stay here again! Highly recommend.
