Beach access is directly across the street — cross the road and a shaded path leads to the white sand in under a minute. Made in the Shade B is a Holmes Beach vacation rental where the location does most of the work. Guests come back year after year — one stayed for 21 days and described the unit as bright, clean, and well-stocked throughout.

The private patio has a gas grill for evening cookouts and outdoor seating for the mornings before the beach day begins. Beach chairs and an umbrella are provided — grab everything and walk across the street. Shared on-site laundry handles the week's beach clothes.

The bedroom has a king bed. A pullout sleeper sofa in the living room handles two more guests, sleeping four total. One full bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped for meals at home — updated appliances and well-stocked for extended stays. High-speed WiFi and cable TV included.

Publix, Walgreens, and the free Anna Maria Island trolley are two blocks away — one of the most walkable positions in Holmes Beach for everyday errands and island exploring without moving the car.

Pets are welcome with approval — contact IVP before booking with a pet. One parking space included.

Made in the Shade B requires a one-week minimum stay.

*Final payments are due 60 days prior to arrival payable by personal check or Echeck (which will incur a $1.00 processing fee) we do take
credit cards for final payment with a 3% fee on the balance due

You are vacationing in a residential area, please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property. Quiet hours are observed from 10 PM to 7 AM.

"Our 3 td time at this location which is excellent. Close to the beach Publix and the shopping area. The weather was not the best but the unit itself is very good. For a short stay this is the best place we have found in our 20+ years of visiting AMI

"This was our second time in this rental but our 15th visit to Anna Maria. I stay in Air BNB's and hotels 2-3 weeks out of the month. And it's the little things that Stand out. Having actual hand soap in the bathroom is so easy and so cheap to supply instead of those terrible prepackaged bar soaps that are so drying. Supplying more than ONE roll of toilet paper for a weeks stay would be kind. An extra blanket. There is only one blanket for the pull out couch. etc.

Made in the Shade Stay

"Great location on a quiet street with a short path to the beach. Unit B was bright, clean and well stocked. The living room chair was not comfortable and the bed was very squeaky. Communication was great before checking in and during our 21 day stay. Amy T was wonderful to work with. She was kind, patient and understanding when searching for this place and after when we had questions or concerns before our arrival. We are very disappointed the unit is already booked for next year when we requested first rights to refusal and a hold for the next year when we booked last year. We hope to be back in the future.

Great Location close to beach

"Lovely place on a quiet street.
Perfect size for my husband, myself & our Golden Retriever to stay.

Great fenced in yard.

We lost power one night. I called the manager and they called right back and helped us find the breaker box and power came back on within minutes.

Just what we needed!

"Made in the Shade was exactly as described with a great surprise. The path to the beach is right across the street, not a busy street by the way, and is shady, with beautiful shrubbery. The rental unit was clean and had plenty of room for me and my husband..There is no grass but the gravel was small and clean. Palm trees line the fence edge for a tropical vibe. Side porch has a bistro table and we sat here daily. It is fairly close to the fence dividing the next door property but was a relaxing spot with shade. Screened in front porch was also great. Loved the rental and hope to return soon.
