Beach access is directly across the street — cross the road and a shaded path leads to the white sand in under a minute. Made in the Shade A is a Holmes Beach vacation rental where guests come back year after year, and where the combination of location, comfort, and easy beach access keeps the calendar consistently booked.

The private patio has a gas grill for evening cookouts and outdoor seating for the mornings before the beach day begins. Beach chairs and an umbrella are provided — grab everything and walk across the street. Shared on-site laundry handles the week's beach clothes.

The bedroom has a king bed. A pullout sleeper sofa in the living room handles two more guests, sleeping four total. One full bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped for meals at home. High-speed WiFi and cable TV included.
Publix, Walgreens, and the free Anna Maria Island trolley are two blocks away — one of the most walkable positions in Holmes

Beach for everyday errands and island exploring without moving the car.

Pets are welcome with approval — contact IVP before booking with a pet. One parking space included.

Made in the Shade A requires a one-week minimum stay.

*Final payments are due 60 days prior to arrival payable by personal check or Echeck (which will incur a $1.00 processing fee) we do take
credit cards for final payment with a 3% fee on the balance due

You are vacationing in a residential area, please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property. Quiet hours are observed from 10 PM to 7 AM.

"This was the second time we rented. We love the location and everything else about the premises except the furniture available to watch TV. We were unit B. The leather chair was very uncomfortable and couch cushions are in of firmer stuffing. We rented for 3 weeks and woul consider a even longer stay but not with the 2 pieces of furniture

"We always enjoy staying at this property, which is steps away from the beach. A lovely beachy duplex with everything you need and is always nice and clean and pretty inside. The management company is always friendly and helpful if you need them.

"property was very clean, on a quiet street and close to shopping ,check in and out was A breeze, the little care package was a plus ,the beach gear was great,.We had both units which was the perfect design for two couples to hangout together and also have our own privacy, loved the location 1 minute walk to beach down shaded path, we all enjoyed this rental and had a great vacation,we had a great meal at the porch restaurant and a lovely sunset cruise dolphin watch and another great meal at the five & nine restaurant where we watched a Celtics playoff game the owner greeted us and had a great conversation another great place was the anchor inn a block and a half away for a nightcap

"Great little place for two. Very clean & comfortable. Close to beach access. Chairs & umbrella provided. Only recommendation would be to add a bright bathroom light above sink to see when shaving or doing make up. Rental company great to work with. Easy check in & they contacted us during stay to make sure everything was good. Would book again

"Excellent location. Beach Acess just across the side street. Very clean. Well equipped. The only negative is a very uncomfortable chair in the tv area. Sofa is not much better. Enjoyed the stay.

"This is an adorable little place for two! It’s conveniently located across the street from the beach access and right down the street from Publix, Walgreens, and shopping stores! I highly recommend this rental. The washer/dryer is co-located in the unit and makes laundry easier than having to find a laundromat! I highly recommend this rental!

"Our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I recommend one addition is to incude an 2nd umbrella. The people in the 2nd unit used the beach umbrella every day so on the last day we asked if we could use it. The owners need to supply an umbrella for each unit. The only other suggestion is that the owners add some furniture on the pebble area to sit and have coffee in the morning or wine in the afternoon. The other side area is where there is a table and chairs not a pleasant place to sit. They could be moved to the other side for more enjoyment.

Perfect Rental for the Two of Us

"Everything in the rental was as described in the listing. Having rented from Island Vacation before, I was pretty sure that everything would be great and it was. The property was well appointed and clean. All of the appliances were in great condition and the HVAC worked perfectly. It has everything you need for your stay. The house is right across the road from the beach access point. The location is mid-island so it is very convenient(only two blocks from Walgreens and Publix). The only suggestion I would make to improve the home is that it could use one more beach umbrella as it is a two unit rental with only one umbrella available.
