Anna Maria Sound sunset views from the screened lanai — this is what gives The Sunset Retreat its name and what guests describe first when they talk about the stay. The lanai has a patio table and chairs for outdoor dining and morning coffee with the water in front of you.

The condo sleeps seven across three bedrooms. The primary suite has a king bed. The second bedroom has a king bed. The third bedroom has two twin beds. The living room sleeper sofa handles the seventh guest. Three full bathrooms throughout. The open kitchen has a granite island and is fully equipped for a week of meals at home. The living and dining area is comfortable and well-configured for a group.

Anna Maria Island was named one of the Sunshine State's 10 Best Secret Beaches by USA Today and one of only four "Old, Classic Florida" destinations by the Wall Street Journal. This is the kind of destination that earns those credentials — and The Sunset Retreat puts you on the water's edge of it.

Two complimentary bikes are included with the unit for exploring the area. The resort amenities are consistent across One Particular Harbour: heated community pool and cabana, children's tot lot and splash zone, BBQ grilling area, deep water marina for sunset strolls, and Floridays restaurant on the property. The free island trolley stops nearby. Manatee Beach on the Gulf is a 2-minute drive over the bridge.

Guests staying 30 nights or longer have access to additional Harbour Isle amenities — the waterfront Beach Club, private pool, fitness center, sky bar, yoga lawn, and kayak launch.

This property does not allow pets or smoking.

The Sunset Retreat requires a one-week minimum stay with covered parking and elevator access included.

"The property was super clean, beautiful and just as pictured. It was well stocked for the kitchen, plus extras like beach towels and all other items needed for the beach. The layout was perfect for us and offered each bed and bath privacy and space. Truly enjoyed the outdoor space on the porch. Just a top notch rental all around.

Sunset Retreat,Great View

"The property was the best of the six times we have stayed in this complex. Great view of the sound and the sunset. Very clean and well appointed unit. Lots of items in the storage closet including four beach chairs, beach umbrellas, two bikes, fishing rods, beach bag. There was no need to buy anything extra. We called once for maintenance. The person was there right away. Any question we asked of management was answered right away. We have already asked about getting this same unit next year.

could have been better

"Liked the view the fittings were excellent and the the apartment was well equipped
Disliked the road noise from bridge traffic the small biting insects that penetrated the fly screen making sitting out on the balcony uncomfortable the restrictions on access was unable to walk/run through the development. Having to collect keys from the office and then return them at the end of the stay. A lock box at the property would have resolved the issue

"From the reservation, to getting our keys for the appartment to checking out, we experienced an A+ service with Island Vacation Properties. They were professionnal, always answering in a timely manner and very helpful. The condo was spotless, the amenities were perfect for a family with kids (pool, water games, picnic tables, etc) and it was a really safe place to stay (gate to get in). Great Family Getaway

"This modern and clean condo is perfectly stocked for a family getaway. It had everything we needed, and was located close enough to the beach and AMI activities that we were able to do everything we had planned without issue. The condo development is very quiet, but has a great pool and is easy to get in and out of, just minutes from AMI/Bradenton Beach. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked, and the entire condo in almost new condition.

"Our family stayed in 384-02. The property is beautiful. Location is perfect. My husband developed appendicitis/ needed surgery/ and was restricted from flying for an additional week. Realty staff was soooo helpful in working with me to find continued lodging in another condo in the complex.. I so very appreciate their help. Penthouse Condo

"We loved this place and will definitely be back! The only down sides we can think of were the sand mosquito’s that ate us alive on the patio and we had difficulty with key fobs working. Other than that, everything was AMAZING! Next time we know to get bug spray right away lol. Thank you for providing such a great place and having wonderful staff!

"Booked this trip kind of last minute and had never heard of this place before, so I was a bit nervous. It was beautiful! The pool area was clean and never too crowded and we ate at Floridays 3 times this week! A short drive over the causeway to the beach and shopping. Would definitely stay here again! The unit was also updated, had extra bedding and beach items and very clean!

"I am so happy we booked this condo. I have been coming to AMI for years and I normally enjoy staying near Bridge St. I was a little worried we were going to be bored here. One Particular Sound Review

"Overall the condo was a great place to stay. Quiet and relaxing. That said, there were some minor things we didn't enjoy: the vents were extremely dusty (so much so I cleaned them because I couldn't stand looking it the piles of dust), the master bedroom room darkening curtain couldn't be used (the center bar had come loose from the wall) and the electric blinds were temperamental at best, the twin bed room needs to have both mattresses replaced (they were extremely uncomfortable - sagging in the middle). That said, even with those issues we would absolutely stay here again. Anna Maria is one of our favorite places to go and if you can't find a place on the island this is almost as good as being on the island!

Excellent Property

"I was a bit nervous to rent this property because it didn't have any reviews (I think it was newly listed). But we were so pleased. It's really an excellent property. The unit is very clean. It has all the supplies - both kitchen supplies as well as beach supplies. There's a storage unit downstairs. We just thought it was extra storage for us and my husband opened it to put his golf clubs in it so we didn't have to take them upstairs. But inside were beach chairs and bikes and beach toys. Very nice surprise.

A little weird getting there the first time - note: take a quick left immediately before you get to the guard gate (like you are actually going to the adjacent hotel) and then go right when you get in the parking lot - the security gate for these units are that way.

We didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it looked nice.

The views are great. Bonus is we could see the bridge going to Ana Maria Island so we could tell how backed up traffic was to see if we should wait a half hour before going over.

Overall - there are 3 bedrooms (2 are masters, but one has intercoastal view and I would say is the "better master" but both are good and have king beds) and there is a 3rd bedroom with 2 twins and a full bathroom right outside of that bedroom. Unit has an easy to use washer dryer as well.

Owners have done a great job and we tried to do our part in maintaining their very nice property. We would return.

Nice family Condo

"A wonderful Condo for families. Great location to beaches and shops.

The Gate needs more than 1 Fob for big families. The FOB is also used for Pools etc. Not convenient when large families are doing separate things.

TV Cable never did work properly and was only in a couple of rooms.

We have rented this Condo twice, and would rent it again.

Lots of beach and pool items to use that is provided in Storage. Bikes, scooters, beach wagon, umbrella, chairs, cooler, pool and sand toys.
