The Gulf is directly across the street from Runaway Bay 250 — and the lighted crosswalk makes the trip safe for families with young kids at any hour. This is a northern Bradenton Beach vacation rental where the beach is genuinely close, the complex amenities are the strongest in the portfolio, and guests have been coming back year after year — some for over a decade.

The complex delivers more than most: a large pool, pickleball courts, a fishing dock, BBQ grilling stations, and a workout room. The free island trolley stops right at the entrance — guests consistently report not needing their car for the entire stay. Bridge Street's restaurants and shops are nearby for evenings off the property.

The condo comes ready for the beach. A beach wagon, chairs, and towels are provided. Floats, noodles, toys, and additional gear are available. Games and cards for rainy days are inside. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for a week of proper cooking — one guest made Christmas dinner here and noted it had nearly every item they needed. The private balcony is surrounded by lush tropical landscaping with muted waterway views — the right spot for morning coffee.

Two bedrooms sleep five. The primary suite has a king bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed. Two full bathrooms, both with walk-in showers. A full-size washer and dryer in the unit. High-speed WiFi throughout.

Runaway Bay 250 requires a one-week minimum stay with parking for two vehicles. Not pet-friendly.

*Final payments are due 60 days prior to arrival payable by personal check or Echeck (which will incur a $1.00 processing fee) we do take
credit cards for final payment with a 3% fee on the balance due

Runaway Bay- Still good despite ongoing renovations

"We enjoyed our stay at RAB. There is still much work to do from recent hurricanes, but the grounds were cleaned up and most of the landscaping survived. Pool was closed but there was an area next to pool to gather. Our unit (250) was very clean and comfortable. There were only about 30 people staying there so we had the whole place to ourselves. Construction noise was at a minimum. We love the location as it is within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Overall, a good value.

Awesome Trip

"We loved staying at Runaway Bay. The condo was clean and provided everything we needed. The pool was great and such a short walk as was the beach. We felt very at home. We rented a golf cart which was super convenient. Lots of great restaurants in the area too. We had a great time!

"250 Runaway Bay met our needs. Great location across the street from the beach. Well stocked beach supplies. Kitchen supplies (cups, plates, bowls, utensils, etc) were well stocked. Decent pool. Comfortable furniture. Supplies (paper products, etc) provided were lacking compared to other rentals I have had. Unit had a musty smell to it.

"Absolutely wonderful condo & location to stay while in Anna Maria Island. The condo was beautiful. It was super clean, very cute decor and had everything we needed. Perfect Location!

"We have stayed many times on the island but this was by far our favorite! The location was perfect for us and the condo was above expectations! We had a couple of questions before we arrived and the owners were quick to respond and super helpful. When we arrived, we found a condo full of everything we needed. There was plenty of beach chairs, fishing buckets, beach toys, balls & a wagon to pull it all. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook all week. Also worth noting everything was good quality, not flimsy as found in other rentals. The coffee machine is a keurig for planning purposes. The sitting area and bedrooms were spacious. The outdoor area was peaceful. We would have liked to use it more but it was so hot! The beach was about a 5 minute walk with public access right across the street from the complex. We used the pool & pickle ball court too. The fishing dock was neat to watch the birds & other wildlife at all hours of the day. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to visit the island! We hope to return back next year!

"WOW we had such a great experience. To the owners -Our condo was beautiful!! It was so clean and centrally located. Also, the decor made us feel like we were at the beach! The balcony was private and beautiful with the palm trees and the water below. Island Vacation Properties were the best! They went above and beyond to accommodate us. "We stayed in runaway the 3 weeks before, and had to find another condo in the same complex, luckily we found 250. We felt at home straight away it had the feel of living in the jungle with the view on the patio backing onto the river, with palm trees beautiful plants and trees for privacy. We enjoyed several of the events they has planned within the complex.The pancake breakfast was yummy. We also loved how close it was to town, the beach the bus stop. The pool area was great ��. Last but not least you can’t forget to mention the gorgeous sunsets ��.

"We stayed for 2 weeks last July and just booked another 2 weeks for June 2019!!! My wife and kids could not be more excited after the amazing time we had last year. My family loves the beach and we have been to Tybee, Topsail, Myrtle, Ocean City and a few more and none of those vacations could hold a candle to Anna Maria. This will be our 3rd time to Anna Maria and we are staying in the same condo (Runaway Bay 250) because it was absolutely perfect. Beach access is literally a 5 minute walk from the door of the condo!! It is quiet, the pool is good size and was not crowded once in the 2 weeks we were there. You can tell the owners care about your vacation bc the the place itself was clean/amazing and had everything you could think of.

"The condo was very clean and comfortable and provided a lot of nice amenities. We loved the layout of the unit, the comfortable beds and the beachy decor. The unit was very close to the beach which we loved and the property had a nice pool which our kids thoroughly enjoyed. There were also very nice barbecue grills on property which we utilized as well. We had a wonderful time and only wish we could have stay longer! We would definitely recommend staying here!

"This is the BEST place we've ever stayed at on Anna Maria Island in all the years we've been coming !!! The Condo is absolutely beautiful. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay . We've already booked it for next year. We were amazed at the location on the island. Close to the gulf (across the street). The biggest swimming pool on the island. We found our Home Away From Home with Palm tree Paradise !!!

"Excellent location with an easy walk to the beach, pool, tennis/pickleball court, and workout room. The unit was nice, clean, and had all the amenities desired. The wifi and beach equipment were top shelf. The only downside was the weight machine in the workout room needs to be repaired.
