Bay on one side, Gulf directly across the street. The screened lanai faces the bay — the right spot for morning coffee while the sunrise comes up over the water. Pelican Cove is a top-floor Bradenton Beach vacation rental where the dual water access and the boat dock set it apart from every other condo in the complex.

The boat dock has electric and water hookup — rare in the Bradenton Beach portfolio and the right setup for guests bringing their own vessel or planning a day on the water. The heated pool and spa sit within the complex. Tennis courts are available on-site. Coquina Beach is directly across the street. Longboat Key is nearby for guests who want to extend their exploration down the coast.

Two bedrooms sleep four. The master has a king bed. The second bedroom has two twin beds. Two full bathrooms. An in-unit washer and dryer makes a week-long stay practical. Flat-screen TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. High-speed WiFi included.

Pelican Cove requires a one-week minimum stay with parking for two vehicles. Not pet-friendly.

*Final payments are due 60 days prior to arrival payable by personal check or Echeck (which will incur a $1.00 processing fee) we do take
credit cards for final payment with a 3% fee on the balance due

"Had a great girls getaway at pelican Cove 15. The condo had everything that we needed and was very clean. Super easy walk to the beach. We had one minor issue with the washer and dryer but they responded quickly and brought us extra towels that we needed.

"The view was the best thing, and the location. From the huge Lanai you can see 180° view of Bay. Only 100 steps to the beach! The furnishings were very nice and the condo was clean. The only bad thing was steps to the third floor with no elevator.

"Great place to stay! The lanai overlooking the bay was very peaceful. Walking distance to Bridge Street and right across the street from the beach. The unit was clean and probably the best
AC of anyplace we have ever stayed. The boat dock was nice to have access to for our boat. The staff at Island Vacation Properties are hands down the best to work with. Will definitely work with them again in the future.

"We had a wonderful stay at this property! Unit was very clean and had everything we needed. Loved having the screened in balconies in the front and back. The view of the bay in the morning was beautiful, and we could peak at the ocean from the front balcony off of the bedrooms. Location was fantastic, we could walk to and from the beach whenever we wanted in 2 minutes. I liked that it seemed to be a quieter/less populated part of the island, but still very close to bridge street, restaurants, the bridge, the ocean and the bay. I appreciated that the company noted that there would be construction going on in their listing, and I was pleased when we arrived and the construction was barely noticeable. We couldn’t hear anything and it didn’t affect our stay at all. The pool also really came in handy for when my kids needed a break from sun and waves. We used it nightly on our walk back from the beach. There is a shower in the pool and a rinsing station in the parking area to rinse off sandy feet. Ample close parking. This unit is up three flights of stairs but that was no problem for me and my kids. And finally staff were very friendly and polite. Would stay here again!

"2 screened in balconies with Bay and Gulf views were very nice. Right on the bay and then a block to the beach. Shopping and restaurants in walking distance and then free shuttle to whole island. 3 flights of stairs was tough but would definitely stay there again.

"We loved our stay at pelican cove. The location was ideal with beautiful views. We were able to walk to the beach and restaurants. The new living room furniture was very comfortable. The condo was very clean and well stocked. We appreciated having toilet paper, soap, paper towels and garbage bags provided. The grounds were well maintained with a nice pool, hot tub and pickleball court. The only negative was construction noise in the neighborhood. We look forward to our next stay!

"If you are looking for a charming piece of Old Florida you have found it! Unit 15 at Pelican Cove is everything you could want for a perfect vacation in AMI.Looking for a sunrise over the bay while drinking coffee on your screened in lanai-check.Walk the beautiful beach just steps across the street-check.Walk down to the famously charming and historic Bridge St. pier where you'll find a plethora of great restaurants, bars, and shopping-you can even fish off the pier there and/or from your private dock. The condo is roomy and well appointed with comfortable beds and bedding. The highlight is the massive doors(which open to a screened in lanai)which give a panoramic view of the boats and birds etc. of Sarasota Bay. Breathtaking! Pool and hot tub are a bonus along with being affordable.Will be back next winter for sure...

"Perfect location with a beautiful view of the run rise. Management company very good and quick to respond. It was clean and we had what we needed. I’d be clear on postings about needing to be capable of climbing stairs to 3rd floor, no problem for us yet but could be for others. Owners should update the living room furniture, condo window treatments and it really needs painted throughout. It is dated.

"Our stay was unfortunately briefer than we would have liked, but what a nuce place to stay for a bit and get away. Being able to go to the balcony overlooking the water each morning and each evening was wonderful. We joked alot about the decor as it kind of felt like the set from the Golden Girls, but that added to the charm. The sky light was another feature we really liked.

Easy access to be with great views

"Conveniently located on the south end of the island but within walking distance of bridge street, it was nice to be able to watch the sunrise and sunset from the same unit. The beach right across the street is great as well as the sea life right off the dock as well as the pool and hot tub were heated perfectly. The condo was moderately well appointed and it appears the owner addressed some recommendations in past reviews. My only constructive feedback would be to replace the beds as they are at the end of their lifespan

"Wish we knew that our second floor (actually the third floor from the ground) condo didn't have an elevator...difficult with a bad back and just having cardiac surgery..it was difficult...location was wonderful and the condo was pretty well appointed...limited TV stations..but the sunrises were amazing
