The private heated pool has an outdoor kitchen alongside it — Grill, and covered deck overhead for shade. The open deck at poolside is where the afternoons go. This is the kind of outdoor setup that makes guests stay home from the beach more than they planned.

Inside, the living room sliders open directly onto the upper deck overlooking the pool — so the indoor and outdoor spaces flow into each other naturally. The kitchen is large and fully equipped for serious meal preparation — full-size appliances, complete cookware, and everything needed to cook properly for a group of six. Guests who like to cook will find this kitchen actually delivers on that promise.

Out back, a small fishing pier faces the canal. The water is known locally for snook — no guarantees, but guests who bring rods have had luck. No boat access to the bay from here, which is worth knowing if you're planning a boating trip. If you're planning a fishing afternoon without leaving the property, this is the place.

The two-car garage keeps vehicles covered and out of the Florida sun. Beach cart, beach toys, and gear are provided for trips to the water.

Three bedrooms sleep six. The master has a king bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The third bedroom has two twin beds. Smart TVs in all rooms. High-speed WiFi throughout. Full-size washer and dryer in the unit.

Lakeside Beach House requires a one-week minimum stay with parking for three vehicles. Not pet-friendly.

*Final payments are due 60 days prior to arrival payable by personal check or Echeck (which will incur a $1.00 processing fee) we do take
credit cards for final payment with a 3% fee on the balance due

You are vacationing in a residential area, please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property. Quiet hours are observed from 10 PM to 7 AM.

Can’t Go Wrong

"Booked this place literally 3 days before arriving and was very pleased with the house, pool, and location to the beach. Kitchen had all the essentials: drip coffee machine, Keurig, toaster, blender, etc. House had beach chairs, beach cart, umbrellas, and various sand toys which were perfect. Highly recommend.

"Check in was easy with a code texted. Home was clean and ready to go. It was stocked with the basics to get us started. Pool was clean and beautiful. The pond provided a very relaxing environment. The rental company checked in throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. With the storms it was nice that we could use the garage. Nice supply of floaties and beach chairs. Will definitely book again. A+++ and a wonderful location only two blocks from the beach and the Bali Hai spa.

Great Location

"Great location. 2 blocks to the beach PLUS a great private pool area! The first week, we shared the space with family, the second week w/ friends and the third week on our own! An easy mile walk (on the beach) in either direction, got us to plenty shops, bars and restaurants. The home had everything we needed. The master bath and kitchen could use some work - but just a deep cleaning, would take it to 5 stars.

"The house is great for a family on vacation. It is a block from the beach with a small pool in the backyard. The house needs to be updated with new kitchen & bathroom floors. The property needs a deep clean including the carpets. If improvements were made I would rent again.

"This was the 3rd time we’ve stayed at this house. Each time it was more run down. The pool filter didn’t work, the one closet door was broken, not enough silverware in the kitchen. It was not cleaned well.
It’s a great location

"This house did not disappoint. It was very clean, and just beautiful. It’s in a great location. Just a short, maybe 3 minute walk to the beach. The house has everything you could possibly need and more. We didn’t want to leave at the end of the week, and we certainly can’t wait to come back. I highly recommend this house.

"The house was extremely comfortable. Enjoyed the closeness to the beach and the area where it's located. The only issue we had was with the City of Holmes Beach. They have done a horrible job of managing the construction on Marina, Gulf drives and Holmes Blvd areas. Huge traffic backups were very common and the dust / noise keep us from visiting that area.

A lovely winter break

"My wife and I spent a week at Lakeside Beach House in early January. The weather was spectacular, the house was quiet and perfectly situated by the beach and next to a pond where we could watch the ducks and other birds frolic. The balcony looks out over the heated pool, We spent hours each day either in the pool or at the beach. Our ritual when we go to Anna Maria or Holmes Beach: we stop at Publix on our way from the airport to stock up for the week. We BBQ or go to one of the local restos, like The Sandbar or Ginny and Jane E's. This house is huge: next time we are bringing the whole family! We will definitely be back.

Great Quiet Location

"Street is quiet. Short walk to the beach (one and a half blocks). We were able to go back and forth to the beach easily through your beach days to eat lunch or use the restroom. A few beach chairs, umbrella, wagon, and coolers provided. Outdoor shower is great to get rid of the sand when you come from the beach so you can jump right into the pool...and it has both hot and cold water! Nice accommodations and the outdoor kitchen and pool are lovely. Dock was nice for our visiting local Florida family to bring their fishing poles to fish. There is a second fridge in the garage for easy access to the pool area. Comfortable furniture throughout the unit and outside. Pictures of this unit are pretty accurate online but bedding and towels are not the same as shown. All white bedding and bath towels now. Also, no throw pillows or accent pillows as shown and there is no longer a table on second floor, but instead has six Adirondack chairs. It can get hot up there anyway so better alternative seating at table/bar in the pool area. Very nice rental company as all interactions were friendly.

Absolutely perfect

"This house was absolutely perfect. It was more than we expected. The house had everything from dishes to beach supplies. The outside kitchen by the pool was our favorite place to be unless we were at the beach a short walk away. We would highly recommend this house to anyone who wants to fully enjoy thier vacation. Second time around

"This is our second stay at this property. We love the location and the layout of the house. We stayed here in November 2020 and July 2021. We were sad that within the 8 months between stays blinds were broken, the games were not put back correctly and overall people didn’t take good care of the place they were renting. Things were thrown on the ceiling and left there.
But we still love the house and hope other renters give the property the respect it deserves.
We have never had issues with check in before. We got to the agency at 3:30 which was early we knew. She said they would text us when it was ready. At 4 when we didn’t hear anything we went back had the rental office was closed. Our keys were in the box waiting for us. So we drove to the property. They were still cleaning. We were told check in was at 4. They weren’t done till 4:45.

Beautiful

"What a beautiful home. We have rented many homes on the island. This is one the best ones. Super clean, comfortable beds, well stocked and kitchen. Did I mention the pool area. I could live this in this home. Unusual for vacation homes is that it has enough beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and a wagon for a trip to the beach. All around an amazing vacation rental. We will definitely come back to this home again.

"Our stay in Florida was outstanding. This is the 2nd year we stayed here and are scheduled to stay here in 2022. The house layout is perfect for our needs however it's starting to show some wear and tear that needs to be addressed (list supplied to IVP). Also the arrangement with the grounds keeper needs to be reviewed. Got tired of removing leaves from the pool and around the pool on a daily basis because they had not been cleaned up for 6+ weeks.

"the PERFECT getaway for a girls getaway / birthday celebration ! Very clean, outdoor shower was so awesome ! plenty of space. LOVED the outdoor kitchen - great grill. Fun pool for skinny dipping ! very private. very safe. easy to find. family friendly. we checked out at least 5 other beaches - and Holmes Beach was the BOMB ! The pelicans were pretty darn cute too !

"Our family really enjoyed our stay at your home. It’s location affords the best of both worlds, a beach is just a short walk away with gorgeous sunsets and white sandy beaches. Wonderful and refreshing

"We decided last minute to take a trip to Florida and SO thankful we did. We have been to Anna Maria a few times and our kids love the beautiful beaches. Of course the trip would not be the same without the beautiful house and pool. They spent so much time in the water I thought they would turn into fish. The house was beautiful and clean. We had rented a golf cart and enjoyed jumping in and traveling to the beach or some shopping or to someplace to eat. It was so wonderful and refreshing.

"First time on Anna Maria Island-Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lakeside! Our son purchased a fishing license and enjoyed fishing from the small dock, surf, and a visit to the pier. Our short walk to the beach was directly from the front door. The provided wagon made talking chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and fishing equipment not problem. We had fun finding shark's teeth, shells, relaxing by the pool and especially local seafood.

"We had a wonderful time at this house. It had plenty of beach and pool toys, chairs, beach wagon Lots of cooking supplies - the grill is a bit tricky bc it is an infrared grill but we were able to use it a number of times. Outdoor oasis was beautiful We had a couple of issues, but the office took care of them immediately! I would recommend this house to anyone!
