Three lanais — one off the living room and one off each bedroom. Fountainhead Condo #4 is a three-story townhouse in Holmes Beach where every level has its own outdoor access and the Gulf is a 3-5 minute walk from the front door.

The unit sleeps four — a queen bed in the master and two twin beds in the second bedroom. No sofa beds, no bunk configurations — just four guests in proper sleeping spaces. The intimate layout is right for couples traveling together or a small family who wants comfort without paying for space they won't use.

The eight-unit complex has a heated pool and on-site shared laundry. The beach is a 3-5 minute walk. High-speed WiFi and flat-screen TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped for meals at home.

Please note: this property is not suitable for electric vehicles or electric golf carts.

Fountainhead Condo #4 requires a one-week minimum stay with parking for two vehicles. Not pet-friendly.

Nice rental at a great location

"Once we got used to all the stairs we had a wonderful vacation. Rental is very close to the beach and shopping. It was clean and had everything we needed. The rental agency was very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely recommend Fountain Head Condos. Thank you!

Perfect location, only a few steps to the beautiful beach

"We received our door code a couple of days prior our vacation and had luck to get in earlier, because the cleaning was done. Everything was clean and we felt comfortable at once.
We love this location! Only a few steps to the beach, Publix and Alvins Island for beach supplies. A short walk to catch the free trolley, manatee beach and some restaurants.
Just one thing, that would make it even better: beach supplies. We are from overseas and we wouldn ́t have to buy chairs and a beach umbrella just for our stay. We left them at the apartement and hope they will fit for the next visitors.
We would definately stay here again!

GREAT STAY ON ANNA MARIA ISLAND

"WE ARRIVED MID-WEEK FOR A COUPLE NIGHTS ON THE ISLAND TO ENJOY THE BEACH. UNFORTUNATELY THE CONDO WE ORIGINALLY RENTED WAS NOT AVAILABLE AND WE WERE TOLD WE WOULD BE UPGRADED TO A DIFFERENT CONDO - THIS ONE. IT WAS VERY CLEAN, HAD WHAT WE NEEDED FOR COOKING AND WAS A SHORT WALK TO THE BEACH. IT WAS EQUIPED WITH BEACH CHAIRS AND BEACH TOWELS WHICH WERE VERY NICE. THE ONLY DOWNFALL WAS THE AMOUNT OF STAIRS TO GET UP TO THE CONDO - WITH RAIN WERE A LITTLE SLICK. ONE OF US HAS RECENTLY HAD KNEE REPLACEMENT SURGERY SO THE STAIRS WERE CHALLENGING (FIRST PLACE WAS ON THE FIRST FLOOR). OVERALL A GREAT PLACE TO STAY

"The condo location was our favorite thing about the place; it is just a short walk to the beach. There were plenty of beds to fit our family. The condo could’ve been a bit cleaner and was missing some kitchen items (cutting boards, more than 2 matching glass cups). There were a few minor issues such as the wrong check in code and no beach equipment but the property management was very helpful in resolving it quickly!

Great place!

"This was a really perfect rental for us (two adults and two kids, ages 4 and 6). The condo is lovely, very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is super convenient - very close to the beach, as well as all the essentials in terms of groceries, pharmacy, ice cream, beach rentals, etc. There were lots of little touches that made things so easy - keyless entry, parking, a well stocked kitchen (even with things like garbage bags and dish soap), laundry on site was easy. We found things clean, safe, and there seemed to only be one other family in the building so we basically had the pool to ourself. Loved it, can't wait to come back!

Steps to the Gulf!

"Fantastic location—100 steps to the Gulf of Mexico. Very clean and functional condo. Wish the structural problems of the neighboring condo could be resolved. Pool was well maintained. Overall, a very relaxing and enjoyable spot.

Great Stay

"We loved the location of the rental. It was clean, the pool area was nice, and there was plenty of space in the condo. We would definitely stay here again. The interior was a little more dated than some condos we have stayed in and the upstairs is carpet. But it was none the less very clean, so nothing wrong with it not being to the most modern standard. The railings were a little loose, which the rental company has been in the process of fixing, but we made sure to stay back from them.

Not up to par

"While the location was wonderful, the actual condo was not. The main complaint I have is the safety issue at the balconies. The railing is very very flimsy and super scary. I went and barely leaned on it and got so scared at how flimsy it was. I immediately called and let the company know. I hope it gets fixed quickly. Especially the main one off the living room, super rusted support and extremely shaky. I could not allow my kids any access to the balconies due to the safety. The kitchen supplies were minimal at best, what a mess in the drawers, absolutely nothing was organized. Could use a spruce up with the kitchen supplies. Also, the worst was that we found multiple dirty plates, bowls, silverware in the drawers and cabinets. I had to wash what we would use before using it. Very junky. The cleanliness was not up to par at all upon arrival, dirty bath mats, dirty mat at the living room, dirty utensils. Dirty coffee maker, dirty fridge with sticky stuff in it, crumbs in drawers. I cleaned what I could as I was putting my food away, but I had to call immediately upon arrival for a cleaning, the floors looked like they were never cleaned prior to our arrival. The whole unit needs a serious update, from carpet to kitchen supplies. The shower door in the upstairs bathroom doesn't work well and comes unhung, leaving some black residue in the tub. The water pressure is next to nothing in the same shower. The public bathroom downstairs by the pool was so dirty and smelly, we couldn't use it. The laundry room was dirty as well, made me not wash laundry all week and took it all home dirty instead. It was that bad. The pool, however, was sparkling clean and awesome. My kids enjoyed that very much. Overall, this unit could be totally amazing, with some updates. The carpets have to go, especially at the beach. Kitchen supplies need major updating as well. Location is top notch though, no complaints there.

Convenient location

"The condo was a perfect location for me. 1.5 blocks to the beach and walking distance to shops, Publix, Walgreens. The unit itself was perfect for two of us. Has the necessities. Small balconies. Decent size pool. Gets hot upstairs in June. Be aware. Lots of steps.

Small & Uncomfortable Bed/Furniture

"Rooms were smaller than pictures depict. Bed/mattress was hard and close to the floor. Beach was approximately 100 yards away, not steps. Two sets of steps so mother in law had trouble traveling up/down multiple times and was limited in her travels.

Great location

"This is a great location, super close to the beach. Additionally, the condo was super close to the grocery store, drugstore and liquor store, restaurants and ice cream shops. The condo itself was spacious. Some of the silverware in the drawer was not clean. The pool was nice and warm, and never over crowded. Our only complaints would be lack of “extra” blankets and pillows and the beds and sheets being uncomfortable. I’m not overly particular when it comes to mattresses but the mattress in this condo was much too firm, and the sheets were like sandpaper. Also there is a laundry facility but you have to pay $3 per load to wash/dry clothes. Also we had rented a golf cart for the week and had there been other golf carts at the facility we only found 1 plug in to use and that was in the laundry room.

Great Week

"I really enjoyed the condo. Pool area clean and well kept. Lots of chairs and lounges and plenty of shade trees. Bathroom located at the pool was clean and stocked. Nicely landscaped Very quiet neighborhood, streets safe for bikes and walking Short walk to the beach, restaurants, shopping, trolly, 5 minutes max for all. Clean inside and out. A bit dated but average for a beach condo in this area. Nice paint and flooring, comfortable beds, higher end linens, kitchen stocked well. A hidden benefit to the older structure is better soundproofing. By far my favorite thing about this place was the AC worked extremely well. Not always a given. I was very pleased with the outstanding customer service provided by Island Vacation Properties Staff.

Fountainhead Condo 4

"Annual two week stay in the Fountainhead Condo complex. We have previously stayed in condos 3 and 7 and this was our first stay in condo 4. Compared to the others we found it to be in need of an upgrade. While adequate for our needs both the tile floors and kitchen cabinets were clearly worn and tired. Could use an upgrade. The main bathtub was in need of a complete cleaning and it did not drain well.

"This place needs to be updated with kitchen to bathroom Essentials such as towels, washcloths, pots and pans with lids, cookware. Some updated paint and different couch covers on furniture other than white would be nice. Didn't like the fact that there is 1 grill for 8 units as well as 1 pool and 2 washers and dryers for all 8 units. Very inconvenient. Bedrooms are hot with no ceiling fans
