Bay Watch 6A sits at the end of two quiet streets in Bradenton Beach — no through traffic, no noise from the main road, just the Intracoastal Waterway on one side and Gulf beaches 100 yards in the other direction. The private dock is available for fishing, kayak launches, and watching whatever moves through the water. Guests have pulled snook and redfish off the dock.

The pool, shared among just 16 units, stays consistently warm and consistently uncrowded.

The complex has been a guest favorite for 30 years. One guest has stayed here for 30 consecutive years. That kind of loyalty doesn't happen by accident — it happens because the location, the intimacy of the complex, and the dual water access deliver something guests can't find at scale anywhere else on the island.

The condo itself has been well maintained with recent updates. The primary suite has a new en-suite bathroom, a queen bed with bay views, and its own flat-screen TV. The guest bedroom has two twin beds that can be configured as a king with advance notice — worth requesting when you book. The private balcony off the primary overlooks the dock and bay — the right spot for sunrise coffee or a sunset drink.

The living room opens to bay views and is fully equipped for relaxed evenings. The kitchen handles full meal preparation with complete cookware and appliances. A full-size washer and dryer in the unit means extended stays and week-long visits are equally easy. High-speed 1-gig WiFi throughout.

The Gulf beach is 100 yards away — about a two-minute walk. Less crowded than the main public access points, with excellent shelling and wide sand in both directions. The free Anna Maria Island trolley stops nearby for exploring the full length of the island without moving your car.

Bay Watch 6A has a 4-night minimum stay — shorter than most Anna Maria Island rentals that require a full week. One covered parking space included plus guest parking available.

"Overall our stay was average. A few of the issues were, anytime we did laundry our smoke detector would go off. I called the property maintenance finally after getting annoyed with it, and they did come out right away. He unplugged it and took it away. We didn’t get to use the pool , but one time, as there was “unknown matter”. I did let the property maintenance know, and they were sending the pool cleaners out. This wasn’t such a big issue for us, but one day we had really bad rain, and rain was pooring in the slider. We laid towels down to clean up the water. Property maintenance said they would get us new towels the next day for what we used. Lastly, if you are like me, and do not want to hear EVERY SINGLE MOVEMENT of the people above you, I recommend getting the top floor. ✨ A couple of positives, we liked the location! If you are bringing a boat, the dock was a huge plus (boat docks are to come by on the island), the condo was fully stocked with utensils, and extra blankets, etc. And the contactless check in/check out was very nice.

"We would definitely stay again! It was a perfect condo for our family of four with two young kids. Well appointed kitchen, clean condo and SUPER responsive team for a few small things we needed after check in. Highly recommend this condo and would rent from Island Vacation Properties again in the future!

Condo with a View

"Nice space, well appointed, everything worked as it should. Comfortable furniture and beds. Clean, no bugs. I did swifter daily and cleaned some areas that were previously over looked. The deck and view were excellent. The pool area were attractive; we did not access. Good parking, convenient location.

ANNA MARIA ISLAND

"We have been coming to Anna Maria Island and staying at the Bay Watch condos for 30 years and always have a real enjoyable time. The condo complex is in a great location with gorgeous views of the bay and the beach and Gulf are right across the street. The rental costs for the condo have gone up considerably over the last few years after being very reasonable for many years.

"This rental is located in a great location. You can kayak in the bay or walk a short walk to the beach. The section of beach across from the condo was not over crowded like the public beach. Restaurants and shopping are close by. Our kids enjoyed taking the trolly around the island.

Would Not Stay Here Again

"The property was very deceiving from the photos as follows: * Mildew on the main bedroom ceiling * TV did not work the first night had to speak with Spectrum 3 times * Fan & Light fixture in the Bathroom falling out of ceiling * Kitchen faucet was broken * Never got to use the Pool, there was a family there who had at least 15+ friends/relatives with kids in diapers. Very loud and lots of screaming, no one enforces the Pool Rules * No way to get the Beach Chairs and Cart down the stairs easily, not good for older persons. The 2 umbrellas were broken * Sand all over the hallway, I had to vacuum the first day * Walls were very dirty It's hard to believe that this place got a number of 5 Stars ratings, must have been friends of the owner.

WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN

"First day July 22nd, the TV did not work had to call 3 times to get it fixed. There was mildew on the ceiling in the Main Bedroom. Kitchen faucet was broken I had to fix it. The fan/light fixture in the main Bathroom was falling out of the ceiling. The floors were full of sand, we had to vacuum. The closet in the guest bedroom was full of sand from the beach equipment that was stored there. We never had a chance to swim in the Pool, because there were many families with kids in diapers and little kids constantly yelling, the Pool Rules clearly stated no more then 9 persons at a time. If I had to pick one positive it would be the view.

"Baywatch is a small facility so there are not many families. Great location on the bay. Short walk to the beach. Several restaurants close enough to walk to. Our unit 6A was very nice.

"Great location. Well stocked kitchen. Great view of the bay from balcony and easy walk across street to beach. Spacious condo. Only issue was floors were sandy and dirty when we arrived and the company sent someone out to clean. Other than that condo was clean.

Loved it there

"Loved it there. Woke up to the sun rise every morning. Walked to the beach to see the sunset every night. Sat on the deck and watched some dolphins playing in the bay. Thank you for having us as your guests.
