"We enjoyed the house. There were fleas upon arrival but with some vacuuming they were gone. I thought the silverware could be better. We love the location and you can’t beat the view anywhere!

Better than expected

"Plenty of room for us. 10 adults. We rented both upper and lower. Split cost between everyone and it's much better than a hotel. Beach is just a few steps out the back door and wasn't crowded at all, public beach is about 1/2 mile away so it's like having the beach to yourself. Upper deck has great views of ocean. Enough space to park 4 vehicles. Keyless entry had issues, but we picked up keys at office a few blocks away. Great location, great place to stay and we had a terrific time.

Family vacation

"Overall, our stay was very nice. Great location, right on the beach, and loved the deck. There were a couple things about the house I wasn’t happy with. The laundry area (upstairs) needs work. Organization is a must, and a curtain to cover the water heater and furnace would have been nice. It was very unattractive to walk by. The front walls also had damage, but I’m sure that will be fixed. Besides those 2 things, we had a great experience, and a wonderful vacation.

"The rental was very nice and accommodated my husband and I and our three adult children with their families. The biggest problem was the lack of kitchen supplies in the downstairs unit and no dishwasher. The upstairs dishwasher did not work very well.

wonderful family vacation

"Super location in regards to everything. Both Tiki and Valhalla worked out very well for our family. We had two sons and family in Vallhala and us (mom and dad) in Tiki along with number three son and wife. Tiki was the "go to" spot for gatherings. Easy down to beach walk with grand kids. All had fun in the water and on beach!Got around locally on rented bikes. Thanks to all at Island Va Ca and the wonderful owners of the two houses.

"Second time in this house and it was very nice. Can't beat the location!
We had some minor appliance issues, which can be expected occasionally, but they didn't affect our stay. Beds and linens very nice, much improved.

20th Wedding Anniversary

"It was extremely beautiful! The only complaints we had was the down stove only had one burner working and has we not also rented upstairs, we would of been screwed. Also the pots and pans and baking sheets weren’t dispersed equally. We were thankful that we rented both.
