The new granite kitchen, fully tiled shower, fresh coastal décor, and updated furnishings are complete and in place.

Manatee Public Beach is directly across the street. The shared heated pool is steps from the unit. Hammocks are on the property for the afternoons when the beach has tired you out and the pool isn't enough. An outdoor shower handles the post-beach rinse before coming inside.

The unit was completely renovated in late 2024. New granite kitchen with modern appliances, fully tiled shower in the renovated bathroom, fresh coastal décor, and new furnishings throughout. Beach gear storage on the semi-private deck — chairs, umbrella, and wagon included for trips across the street.

Two bedrooms sleep six. The master has a king bed with its own TV. The guest bedroom has two twin beds. The living room has a 55" smart TV and a sleeper sofa for the remaining guests. High-speed 1-gig WiFi. Fully equipped kitchen for meals at home. Shared laundry on the property. Linens and towels provided.

Dogs are welcome with a $150 non-refundable fee. The dead-end street and the resort layout make this one of the more comfortable pet-friendly setups in Holmes Beach.

Cafe on the Beach, Skinny's Place, and local dining are within easy walking distance. The free island trolley stops close by for exploring all of AMI without a car. Boat and trailer parking available on-site.

Sea Horse 3 requires a one-week minimum stay with parking for two vehicles.

credit cards for final payment with a 3% fee on the balance due

You are vacationing in a residential area, please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property. Quiet hours are observed from 10 PM to 7 AM.

Amazing stay on Anna Maria Island 7/26

"Although the weather wasn’t perfect, the first couple of days because of a tropical storm, once we arrived on property, our facility made us feel like we were at home. Everything was extremely clean and neat. Check-and and out was extremely easy. The grounds were very well manicured and the pool was kept clean, and the furniture and equipment was in great shape. The location to the beach was only a two minute walk so extremely close and convenient. We will definitely stay there in the future.!!!

"The property managed ladies were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and kind through every step of the process.Prior to our arrival, they kept in contact with us and furnished the check-in instructions, which were very easy to understand. The property inside and out was very well maintained and clean. All the amenities worked properly. The pool was absolutely outstanding. A great place to come and cool down after a hot day on the beach. The location is spectacular. It is right in the middle of the island so it is not far to any restaurant or location you wish to explore. Everyone on the island were extremely friendly. We will definitely return to this property!!

"My daughter and I spent a week at Mi Happy place / sea horse . The unit was very clean , well kept and looked as is did in the website . It was less than a 10 minute walk to the beach ,which was very convenient. The pool was also great ! We would definitely stay here only small recommendation would be to have a Keurig coffee machine instead of the basic brewing machine . I couldn't justify buying a pack of 100 filters and a bag of coffee for a week for just myself . A small box of coffee pods would have made more sense to me . Otherwise, no complaints at all. It wasn't our first visit to Anna Maria Island and it definitely won't be our last.

"What a fantastic find! This quaint 2/1 property worked out great for the two of us the week we stayed on AMI. A short walk across the street to the beach. Many conveniences that made the property worth another visit in the future. Pool, beach chairs/equipment, laundry on site, patio for outdoor meals. Beds were comfortable. Maintenance was quick to respond to a request we had. Future considerations would be to update the bathroom to include a walk in shower. All communications were timely and professional. Definitely on the repeat stay list!!!

"We enjoyed our stay in the house. Pool was a nice feature with a nice setting including well kept plants and trees. Location was great allowing for easy access to the beach, restaurants, and groceries. Description of the house was accurate. House was clean. The tiki bar shown in the picture is not actually on the property but across Gulf Drive.

Perfect getaway for adults

"My husband and I booked this getaway, last minute. It was everything we expected and more. Everything was very clean, owner responded promptly, pool area was nice. We enjoy walking and everything we needed was within walking distance. Restaurants, beach, church, grocery store, shopping, ice cream. We chose not to rent a car, and worked out well for us. The uber from Sarasota airport was about $40. I gave the location a 4 star, just because not much for a few when sitting outside the resort and the road to cross to get to the beach is busy.
I would come back!

Family Vacay

"We rented three of the four cottages for a family of 9. The cottages and location were absolutely breath taking! A few steep to your right and you were on the beach, we you can play sand volleyball, enjoy a sunset, collect seashells (mornings are the best) or enjoy a pina colada at the Tiki Bar. A few steps to your left and you will find grocery store (reasonable priced), liquor store, Walgreens, and some cute store fronts. We took advantage of the free trolly at the beach and visited both end of the Island. Bridge Street, located on the bay side had great restaurants and variety of shops. We saw multiple dolphins on the pier. The house had everything we need and more, the beds were very comfortable and enough seating for a family gathering. We ate dinner outside and BBQ’s a few times during our stay. We didn’t need to rent any chairs or umbrella for the beach. We loaded up the wagon (was provided) with the cooler, chairs, umbrella, volleyball, and football and headed to the beach to enjoy the soft white sand. We enjoyed the pool daily! It was a nice spot to hang out together, play water games, sunbath, hang out in the hammocks, or play card games while enjoying the beautiful view. We hope to come back and fill the fourth house with more families members.

Cutest little cottage

"Had another great stay. When we arrived our code didn’t work and it was after hours but I called and was given a new code right away. Easy peasy! Place felt very clean. Love the location and pool. Only complaint is it got hot when sleeping at night (but it is Florida ��‍♀️) and the ceiling fan in the bedroom with 2 beds clicks making it hard for me to sleep. (Light sleeper here) Luckily only slept in there a few nights when my 4 year old wanted me to- didn’t seem to effect her sleep any. Loved being a short walk to Publix- very convenient. Also all the beach items provided were a huge help! Never could’ve carried all our stuff and a baby without the wagon! Would stay again :)

Excellent Location

"We had a wonderful family vacation during the Christmas season at MI Happy Place. While I have been to Florida many time, this was the first to AMI and we will definitely be back. MI Happy Place was perfect for your family getaway. Excellent location on the Island.

I would recommend some general maintenance. The air conditioner ran extremely loud. Not sure if this is due to the age of the air conditioner or if it just need some up keep. I would also say that our Sea Horse units kitchen cabinets are showing age. Some of the doors didn't close all the way and its just time for a refresh/update. Our family rented 3 of the 4 units and between us a few of the beach umbrellas were broken and unusable and the beach chairs are very rusty. I would recommend investing in new umbrellas and chairs yearly.

Overall this is an excellent property and we will be back.

"Great Location. Beach,shopping and trolley all close and easy to walk to. Great pool. Residence was clean and well accommodated. There are a few areas that will need some maintenance in the future but nothing major. Property management was easily accessible and immediately addressed any concerns. Island is stunning.

3 week vacation

"We stayed in the Sea Horse @ MI Happy Place for our 1st week, then had to move to the Sand Castle for our next two weeks. This place is awesome and so conveniently located to all stores needed and the best part is the beach is right across the street. The pool was kept very clean and is heated at a comfortable temp. Each unit is furnished with everything you need, included beach wagons, toys, chairs & umbrellas. We had many cool days & nights and it was nice to have cozy blankets to snuggle up with. Someday we hope to return to Mi Happy Place.

"We had a girls' week-end at MI Happy Place and this place was private, well-maintained, and close to everything. We loved that we could walk to the beach, grocery store, and restaurants and that it is near a trolley stop. It was fantastic having our own pool, outdoor eating areas, and even a hammock! I’m missing the palm trees

"Just got back from staying in Sea Horse and loved everything about it. We had all the comforts of home in a tropical paradise setting. It is conveniently located with Holmes Beach just across the street and any necessary shopping within walking distance. The beach decor was inviting and I really wish I could have taken the bed home with me! Everything was freshly painted and the grounds and pool got regular attention. Ice storm today - I'm missing the palm trees.

"We just got back form spending five days in AMI at Mi Happy Place - Sand Castle and it was perfect! The king size bed was very comfortable and we slept so good. We had all new dishes in the kitchen and had everything that we needed to cook meals in. We had everything we needed for the beach - beach wagon, beach towels, and beach chairs. We were literally across the street from the Gulf of Mexico and the white beach of AMI. The pool and pool deck were clean and inviting. We walked to Skinny's a few times for amazing burgers and then would walk to the beach for sunset. was so easy to work with. Would recommend and we will definitely be going back!

Off Season stay was fantastic!

"We stayed here during what people think is the “off season”, and quickly realized that we’d be back! The weather was fantastic, the crowds were non-existent, and the resort was fantastic. Nicely updated place at a fantastic price point. Very convenient to restaurants (recommend Skinny’s across the street), right by the beach, nice big pool, comfortable beds, and more! We’ll definitely be the back!!
