Fifty steps from your door to the sand. That's it. Four Beach Lovers Unit 4 is a garden-view retreat in Holmes Beach — not Gulf-front, but close enough that guests consistently describe the walk to the water as shorter than they expected. One guest counted it: fifty steps around the building and you're on the beach.

Unit 4 faces the tropical gardens rather than the Gulf. Your covered patio with a four-top table and chairs overlooks lush landscaping, a gazebo with a softly running fountain, and porch swings in the shade. The sound of the Gulf is always in the background. The garden side of Four Beach Lovers has its own atmosphere — quieter and more private than facing the water, with a different kind of beauty that guests come back for year after year.

Here's what sets Unit 4 apart from Unit 3 next door: Unit 4 has the same full square footage as the Gulf-front units. If you want the most spacious garden-view option in the complex at the best price point in the complex, this is it.

The 2025 renovation rebuilt everything. New kitchen with full-size appliances, dishwasher, and a wine fridge for chilling a bottle before the fountain goes quiet for the evening. New bathroom with a walk-in shower and modern fixtures. All new furnishings, linens, and smart TVs in the bedroom and living room. The entire property runs on solar power — one of the few vacation rental complexes on Anna Maria Island that does.

The king bedroom is a peaceful retreat. The living room sofa sleeper handles two more guests comfortably, sleeping four in total. Fast 1-gig WiFi and a full cable package are included for remote workers and rainy afternoons alike.
Beach chairs are stored onsite — fifty steps and you're using them. Charcoal grills are available for cookouts. A shared laundry room serves all four units. Linens, towels, and beach towels are all provided.

Four Beach Lovers has four units total. Units 1 and 2 face the Gulf directly. Units 3 and 4 offer garden views at better pricing — with Unit 4 offering the full square footage of a Gulf-front unit.

Holmes Beach is the quieter, more local part of Anna Maria Island. Publix is a couple of blocks away. Walgreens and a small shopping center are nearby. The free island trolley stops close by — explore the full length of AMI without moving your car once you've parked.

Guests who find Unit 4 come back. One for four years running — and still counting.
Four Beach Lovers Unit 4 requires a one-week minimum stay and includes parking for one car. This property is not pet-friendly.

Noise Ordinance: You are vacationing in a residential area, the quiet hours are 10 PM-7 AM. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property.

*Final payments are due 60 days prior to arrival payable by personal check or Echeck (which will incur a $1.00 processing fee) we do take
credit cards for final payment with a 3% fee on the balance due.

Perfect beach vacation

Home away from home

"This was our 4th stay at Four Beach Lovers #4 and we are returning again in September for our anniversary! We absolutely love this place and think of it as our home away from home! The location is perfect and just a few steps your feet are in the sand. Everything you could possibly need, you have it!! It’s a little slice of Heaven! Unfortunately the rental price is going up so much that September may be the last chance we get to visit! I sure hope not because this place is perfect!

Amazing Holmes Beach Stay

Perfect location!

"We couldn't have asked for a more perfect location! Walk out the door to the we beach. Free trolley stops a block away. Everything we needed right there, including beach chairs, towels, kitchen equipment. Perfect for two people, might be a little small for 4. Bed was comfy, sofas were comfy. We decided not to rent a took us a day or two to learn the trolley ins and outs. Next time I will have the bulk of our groceries delivered and use the trolley to pick up extras.

"This was our second trip to AMI but our first time staying at Four Beach Lovers. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! I could go on and on. We didn't have a single complaint! The furnishings we comfortable, the unit was unbelievably clean, the bed was comfortable, anything and everything we could have needed in the kitchen was there and there was plenty of storage. We stayed two weeks and it literally felt like home the moment we walked in. We stayed in a garden-facing unit. It was so nice to walk outside with my Kindle where it was shady and swing on one of two arbor swings. We spent several evenings on the porch and it too was wonderful. Love that there is a ceiling fan above the table. The walk around the building to get to the sand was only about 50 steps! The only people on that part of the beach were the guest in the other three units. Four Beach Lovers will be our "home away from home" for years to come! One more thing...Island Vacation Properties was the best management company I've ever worked with! Eager to help and answer questions and their response time was nearly immediate! Next year won't come soon enough for us!!!

Musty and dark

"The property description was accurate, and it appeared clean but did not smell clean. All but 2 windows were screwed & painted shut - even the windows in the bedroom. It was impossible to air it out. I tried odor absorbers and air fresheners but the musty smell remained. I called about the bedroom window not allowing emergency egress & no one returned my call.

Little Home on the Beach

"I was prepared to clean once we arrived due to the virus. Thankfully when walking in the door, we could smell the cleanliness of the house. Everything smelled freshly washed or wiped down. The only thing we had issues with was we did have a minor ant problem towards the end of our stay. We noticed the traps placed around the kitchen area but we just made sure to keep everything sealed up.

You learn more about a company when things don't go as expected

"AC stopped working when a contractor cut a line by accident. Property company was very responsive and let us stay in vacant adjacent unit overnight until repair could be completed the next day. They were awesome and we appreciated their responsiveness and solution.

This is a lovely place on a great beach. 4 units can be fun for extended family to rent together. We knew unit did not face the ocean. It was still super convenient and we'll be back. Clean, quiet, convenient, and uncrowded. Right around the corner from publix grocery store.

"Booked during COVID-19 outbreak as away to enjoy ourselves. Get house, great location. felt very safe and no concerns over distancing. the sleeper sofa was not great so kids slept on sofa and loveseat. would suggest air mattress as sleeper sofa are never very comfortable. overall very satisfied with our experience. all contact was via online or email. sure staff is wonderful but no contact was needed with booking online and the app. highly recommend this rental company and property.

Lovely condo on Anna Maria Island

"Lovely 1 BR condo in one story 4 unit building on beach.
2 units in back of building back to beach. Ours was in the front, but all you have to do is walk around the back and the beach is right there. Very convenient for beach walking and sunset watching. Beautifully furnished - we loved having two couches! Also, within walking distance of grocery store, Walgreen's, bagel shop, trolley stop. On site laundry a plus.

"We have rented at Four Beach Lovers now for the 3rd time. Both the owner and IVP are excellent to work with. We had been with other agencies in the past but IVP is far more personal. The property is so comfortable and nicely furnished and equipped. It is water front and all 4 units are steps onto the sandy beach. We have booked for a 4th stay and highly recommend both this property and IVP staff. We can't wait for our return visit and will explore gathering our family for a visit. .

Spectacular Beachside Property

"We rented all 4 units to celebrate a 60th birthday with friends and family. We loved it! The street side courtyard provides a beautiful gathering place and privacy. The beach side is spectacular. Perfect for a small family

"We stayed in unit 4 (not Oceanview). The walk around to the beach was like getting a surprise each morning. Our 11& 9 yr old slept on the pull out sofa bed. The unit was very clean with what felt like all new furniture. The beach was not crowded at all. I guess due to it's position between access points. This was our first visit to Anna Maria and it left a great impression.
