Your toes in the sand within seconds. Four Beach Lovers Unit 1 is a completely renovated gulf-front retreat in Holmes Beach where the beach isn't just close — it's right there. Step off your private patio and you're standing on white sand with the turquoise Gulf of Mexico stretching before you.

Unit 1 faces southwest, directly on the Gulf. That means front-row sunsets every evening, dolphin sightings from your patio most mornings, and a quiet, uncrowded stretch of beach that guests describe as some of the best on the island. This isn't beach access or a short walk to the water — it's the water.

The 2025 renovation took everything down to the studs and rebuilt it. Solar Powered. New kitchen with full-size appliances, dishwasher, and a wine fridge for chilling a bottle before sunset. New bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower and modern fixtures. All new furnishings, new linens, and new smart TVs in the bedroom and living room. The result is a fresh, modern space that still feels like a genuine beach cottage — because it is one.

The king bedroom is a peaceful retreat with its own smart TV. The living room sofa sleeper comfortably handles two more guests, sleeping four in total. Fast 1-gig WiFi and a full cable package make this equally functional for remote workers and families weathering a rainy afternoon.

The patio is where most guests spend most of their time. Beach chairs are stored in the shed — grab them and you're on the sand in seconds. Charcoal grills are available onsite for beachside cookouts. There's no better place on the island to eat dinner than your own patio at sunset with the Gulf in front of you.

Four Beach Lovers has four units total. Units 1 and 2 face the Gulf; Units 3 and 4 offer garden views. The property's tropical landscaping, gazebo with fountain, and old-fashioned porch swings make the grounds feel like a small, private resort.

Holmes Beach puts you in the quieter, more local part of Anna Maria Island. Publix is a couple of blocks away. Walgreens and a small shopping center are nearby. The free island trolley stops close by — explore the full length of AMI without moving your car once you've parked.

Guests have made Four Beach Lovers their annual tradition — some returning four, five, even twelve years running. They book their next stay before they leave. The location keeps them coming back. The 2025 renovation gives them something brand new to come back to.

Four Beach Lovers Unit 1 requires a one-week minimum stay and includes parking for one car. This property is not pet-friendly.

Noise Ordinance: You are vacationing in a residential area, the quiet hours are 10 PM-7 AM. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property.

*Final payments are due 60 days prior to arrival payable by personal check or Echeck (which will incur a $1.00 processing fee) we do take
credit cards for final payment with a 3% fee on the balance due.

Perfect stay

"Easiest stay on the beach ever! It’s right outside the door :)
No stairs or roads to cross.
Wish there were hooks on porch for hanging wet things and maybe a “hall tree” type organizer to put things when you enter and a place like a narrow shelf or cabinet for the people staying on the couch to put their things. Other than that, they place was immaculate, can’t beat the location and we hope to stay there again.

"Outstanding experience. The location and unit were exceptional. Well stocked and maintained. They even had a portable Bose speaker that you could take on the beach. Beach towels, umbrella, chairs... everything you need. Unit 1 faces the beach/west. Sunsets were unbelievable. We ate in almost every night sitting on the outside umbrella table watching the sunset. You are actually one step from being on the beach. Two turtle nest on each side. Very memorable experience.

Beautiful Ocean View

"Our ocean front view was amazing to wake up to everyday! The little cottage was so beautiful and clean. Everything you needed was there from steps to the beach,beach towels provide and beach chairs. The trolley was free and got us to everywhere. Everything was perfect! I am missing it already. Will definitely be back! Check in eas so easy and they communicated with us right away with any questions we had. They helped with transportation to and from airport. This cottage is heaven! Turquoise water everyday! We were there May 2nd to 9th and weather was perfect. Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable.

Amazing

"This little cottage is just wonderful! Beach front was more amazing than I could have ever imagined. Sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. Fully stocked with everything we needed from beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels. The whole house was stocked for daily needs. We loved how close it was to everything we needed. Free trolly got us to the whole island. It truly was a wonderful place for a much need get away. Definitely will be back!

Great Vacay Getaway

"Location, location, location!!! We had a wonderful time! The weather was absolutely perfect. Waking up to view the beautiful blue waters of the gulf, the white sandy beach, the smell of salt air, and the sound of the waves rolling in on the beach was so relaxing.

The only disturbance was when the smoke alarm malfunctioned and we could not turn it off at 5:00 am. Amy from island Vacation Properties and Pete from the unit next door came to the rescue. Finally after what seemed forever, quite returned to our unit and a few more hours of sleep was attained. Amy was so thoughtful and brought sweet treats for all later that morning! We’ve stayed at 4 Beach Lovers in different units for several years! Very clean, the location is perfect, and Island Vacation Properties aims to please! Highly recommend!!!

Great location on the beach

"This was my second stay at Four Beach Lovers and I plan to return. The location on a quiet stretch of Holmes Beach is the best. The kitchen is well equipped, beach chairs and towels are provided, furnishings are beautiful, and the white sand beach is right out the front door. My only disappointment was that there is no longer a covered front patio so the pictures of the property weren't totally accurate. I also had several small maintenance issues but the property managers were quick to fix everything. All in all it was a wonderful week in paradise!

"This is our second year at Four Beach Lovers 1. We love the location...it is perfect for our needs. The unit was clean and up to date. The property managers were friendly and responsive to our every need. We would love a more comfortable sofa and perhaps a loveseat instead of the two wicker chairs but this is the only thing we would change. Everything else is perfect! We hope to be back again next year.

"This is your place to be if you want a comfy clean spot right on the gulf with a spectacular view. The back deck is a shaded,decked area with a dinnng area under a gazebo, 2 double swings, a serene water fountain and charcoal grills .Great gathering place for eating,cards/games,reading or work. Free laundry and beach chairs and towels to use. Couple blocks from the Publix,walgreens strip shopping center. Mgt property communicates thru out your stay by text that you can respond to and get replies immediately.

A Perfect Location

"Really nice place on the beach. Could however benefit from having one set of beach chairs and parasol for each unit (in good condition). And I would also suggest changing the sofa-bed, to something a bit more comfortable. Other than that, perfect place.

THE PERFECT PLACE FOR ME!

"I have been vacationing on the Florida gulf coast for the past 19 years. For Beach Lovers is easily in my top three, probably my favorite actually. This place was by far the cleanest and most well-kept vacation home that I’ve stayed in, and that is very important to me being a bit of a clean freak. I found it tastefully appointed and had everything within the unit that I could’ve asked for. Great location! I will be back next year and hope for some warmer weather. The unexpected cold front was not welcome.

"We absolutely love 4 Beach Lovers #1! It has everything you need and nothing you don’t! We like it because of the location - no big hotels nearby yet we could walk to Publix, Ace, Walgreen, etc. The accommodations are perfect for a couple. The bed is comfortable, there is an adequate amount of soap, dish liquid, paper towels and tp provided. We bring our own beach chairs and umbrella. No need for a cooler b/c you are so close! The grills could use some work - very rusted but we managed. As much privacy or socializing with the other 3 units as you want. No problem using the laundry room when we needed it. Highly recommend!

"Everything about the location is perfect. The unit in this old building needs attention. Some improvements have been made like the beautiful new bathroom. However, windows that don't open and no screens, peeling paint, broken blinds, uncomfortable couch, broken trash can slider, bathroom fan that would not stop clacking were all little things that we don't expect in a top dollar property. Management was great in dealing with what they could. Kitchen is well equipped. Bed is comfortable.

"Excellent location, fully stocked kitchen, incredibly clean, comfy bed. Open your doors and step out to paradise! This unit is impeccable, spacious, and the decor is NOT outdated, and doesn't stream "Golden Girls" Its beach chic. We've already booked our next stay. I would only request a few more bathroom towels, since the rentals are weekly.

"Great place! Step off the porch and your on the beach! Perfect inside, well furnished and spotless! Outside needs a little sprucing, parking a little tight need to remove the wooden sidewalk to give a little more room for parking! The grills were useless so dirty couldn’t use them. Would I stay again? All ready have it booked 2 times!!!!!!!

Great Beach Cottage

"House is divided into 4 units. 2 which face the beach 2 which do not. We stayed in cottage 1. It was absolutely what the doctor ordered. Steps from our door was the beach. We had a wonderful deck and our own grill. Nothing super fancy, but clean and wonderful. We we a couple blocks from Walgreens and maybe 3 blocks from Publix. Very convenient! We would highly recommend.

Steps to Beach

"The location of this property couldn't be better. This area of the beach is less crowded and about as close to the water as you can get. The layout was as expected and it was convenient to restaurants, grocery stores and shopping. There were a few things I would recommend to the owner. Ceiling fans on the porch, upgrades on bedding and sound buffering on the AC. The AC unit is located in the closet and is very loud at night. But overall we had a great experience and would recommend this property.

Amazing view!

"We stayed at Four Beach Lovers 1. We have been coming to Anna Maria for about 7 years now and this is the first time at this property and the first time with Island Vacation Rentals. We will not go elsewhere. We stayed at this home during construction - the owner, Uwe and Birgit, Ken were all amazing. This is by far the cleanest place we have stayed. Uwe and Birgit - I cannot say enough good about the perfectionism, the cleanliness and the hospitality. We have already booked again for this year.

As Close To Perfect As You Could Want

"We stayed at this beautiful rental during construction. The owner, company, and most especially, Uwe and Birgit went out of their way to ensure we were disrupted the least amount possible. Birgit and Uwe provided the best hospitality and one of the absolute cleanest properties we have stayed. We have been coming to AMI for 7 years - multiple times each year and this property is by far our favorite. The location is absolutely perfect and breathtaking. It is well equipped inside and has plenty of beach chairs as well. Does not disappoint. We have already rebooked!

Can’t wait for our return visit

"We have rented at Four Beach Lovers now for the 3rd time. Both the owner and IVP are excellent to work with. We had been with other agencies in the past but IVP is far more personal. The property is so comfortable and nicely furnished and equipped. It is water front and all 4 units are steps onto the sandy beach. We have booked for a 4th stay and highly recommend both this property and IVP staff. We can't wait for our return visit and will explore gathering our family for a visit.
