Bliss & Tonic Both is the full duplex — Bliss & Tonic Down and Bliss & Tonic Up rented together — giving large families, multi-generational groups, and reunion travelers the rare combination of shared space and private space under one roof. Four bedrooms. Four bathrooms. Two fully equipped kitchens. Two living rooms with 55" Smart TVs. Two covered bay decks where the morning coffee ritual happens at the same time, just one floor apart.

Each unit has its own master suite with a king bed and en-suite bath. Down's guest bedroom has a full and a twin. Up has a den with a trundle bed for additional guests. The living room sofa sleepers in both units mean the full property sleeps twelve comfortably — with a washer and dryer in each unit so the whole group can pack lighter and stay longer.

The bay decks are where Bliss & Tonic earns its reputation. Covered, spacious, and overlooking the Intracoastal — guests describe the mornings here as the best part of the trip. Dolphins and seabirds are regular visitors. In the evenings, the shared gas grill and outdoor shower round out the outdoor living setup that makes this property work for groups who want to spend time together without being on top of each other.

Steps from the property, a local park delivers what most vacation rentals can't: a kayak and paddleboard launch directly onto the Intracoastal Waterway, a fishing pier, a basketball court, and a playground. Guests have fished off the pier, launched kayaks before breakfast, and let the kids run the basketball court while dinner was on the grill — all without getting in the car.

The Gulf is two blocks away. Bridge Street is minutes out — Daiquiri Deck, Beach House, and the full stretch of Bradenton Beach's restaurants and shops within easy walking or trolley reach. Six off-street parking spaces means the whole group arrives in their own vehicles without coordinating.

A 5% military discount is available on both units — contact IVP directly to apply.

Bliss & Tonic Both requires a one-week minimum stay for the full duplex. Not pet-friendly.

*Final payments are due 60 days prior to arrival payable by personal check or Echeck (which will incur a $1.00 processing fee) we do take
credit cards for final payment with a 3% fee on the balance due.

Our Home Away from Home for Over 8 Years

After staying at the same property for more than eight years, we can truly say that it feels like our own vacation home. Coming back every year has become a family tradition, and it is always one of the vacations we look forward to the most.
The location is perfect for us, and Anna Maria Island continues to be a wonderful place to spend a family vacation. Over the years, we have definitely noticed that the area has become more popular, and you now see people on the beach throughout most of the day. Still, it has managed to keep the relaxed and special atmosphere that keeps bringing us back year after year.
We also want to recognize the maintenance staff. They are excellent! We had a couple of minor issues during our stay, and they responded immediately and took care of everything quickly and professionally. That level of service makes a big difference.
We absolutely recommend Anna Maria Island, and especially Island Vaction Property, for your next vacation. After more than eight years of staying with them, the fact that we continue to come back every year probably says it best. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Roomy and comfortable. Beds are comfortable, lots of pots and pans for cooking. Beautiful views from the porches.

Home away from home

"Bliss and Tonic is our home away from home when we visit Anna Maria Island. It has everything we need for our yearly three generation family reunion and enough space so we can gather when we want/ need to OR find a quiet space to relax when we don’t want to be around the noise! Just a few minute walk to the beach and close to anything we need ( grocery store, restaurants, etc) . Communication with rental co. fast and friendly ! They helped us with questions and concerns right away via text. Highly recommend!!Can’t wait to return next summer!

Clean and comfortable house in a good location

"We rented both the upper and lower unit for a multi generation family trip. The house was super clean, comfortable, and had plenty of room for everyone. The location was quiet but only a 2 block walk to the beach access. We could see both the sound and ocean from the top floor! We loved it - a couple of minor plumbing issues were quickly resolved by the rental agency. We would stay again!

"We had a wonderful stay for Spring Break with another family! We took the top unit and our friends were in the lower. It was immaculately clean, and the beds and linens were very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked well. We loved the location, just a few blocks from the beach. Our favorite was hanging out and playing cards on the porches. Our boys loved the nearby park for shooting hoops. Some suggestions would be a cart for hauling things to the beach, a few more towels, hand soap in the kitchen and bathrooms, and hooks to hang towels in the bathrooms. We had plenty of beach chairs which was much appreciated! Overall really great stay and we would highly recommend!

Absolutely blissful

"My husband and I take our adult children and their significant others on vacation. Every July we typically come to Ana Maria Island as my family grew up here and he enjoy visiting friends and family that Are still living on Ana Maria or in the surrounding areas. We rented both condos. Our stay could not have been more perfect. The View from front to back from both balconies were breathtaking. We enjoyed both sunset and sunrise very close to beaches, restaurants, etc. especially how close we were to Bridge Street because we Love the Daiquiri deck we will absolutely be returning.

Great Spot for Beachgoers

Only two blocks from the beach and conveniently located between Cortez and Manatee gave great access to all Bradenton and Anna Maria have to offer. Roomy w/ Great Views of the Bay!

"Our family split both units with friends. Our family of 7 fit very comfortably in the upper unit! My husband & I shared a master, 3 kids shared the 2nd bedroom, and 2 kids comfortably shared the little room off the porch that included the twin w/ trundle! We were so grateful for the extra space! We had stayed in Dolphin Dance last year, and while that one had an ideal, near-beach-front location, it was a little cramped. Bliss & Tonic has the perfect amount of space to accommodate a larger party! The condo was well-stocked with towels + the needed essentials at arrival, and the washer/dryer worked amazingly. The pantry was HUGE & easily fit our food. The closets were also large & spacious. The location was a quick 2 blocks to the beach, & we loved biking to restaurants & stores!

Our friends rented the lower unit. Their AC went out the first day & a half, but IVP was very prompt in sending over a maintenance man to make repairs. They were also very prompt at any other requests we had. Our friends on the lower unit had this to share: "The condo was well-equipped with plenty of towels (including beach & bath) & kitchen supplies. We loved all the windows and light. The porches & porch furniture were great. The condo was thoughtfully decorated & included plenty of storage. We loved the beach wagon & supplies. Truly, we only needed to pack a carry-on suitcase & arrive for a week of beach fun. The condo was just a few blocks from the beach as well as a local park (bring a basketball for the basketball court!). It was a quiet street. My only suggestion would be for the owners to renovate the porch to enclose part of it into a bedroom on the first floor condo to match the 2nd floor condo. We really could have used that extra bed/room that our friends had upstairs. Other than that, we loved the layout--so open, airy, & easily accessible."

Note: The lower unit was a little bothered by loud footsteps from the upper unit. The sound reverberated.

Best Post Pandemic Family Vacation

"The Bliss and Tonic House was a perfect dwelling place for my family and I. We rented both condos for my big family and it was very spacious and accommodating even when we entertained our local family! What a fabulous rental

"Thank you for a fabulous stay! The accommodations were perfect for our extended family to stay in both units and still be together. We enjoyed the decks in the mornings and evenings and still close to the beach for morning walks and sunsets. Thank you for the beach towels and beach chairs. The kitchen and baths were well equipped. We had a wonderful time! I concur with my sister -- we have enjoyed your condo/home immensely. Everything we needed to make our holiday meals was readily available. Your beach towels and linens are wonderful -- everything is quality! "We loved our stay at Bliss and Tonic. We had family (8 of us) ranging in age from 57 to 10 months stay here and we all Had a great time. The space and location of the condo were perfect, and the inside is even better than the pictures show! So close to beach, trolley stop, and lots of good restaurants. We enjoyed eating at Skinny's, Wicked Cantina, Beach House and Rod n Reel Pier. Sunsets were beautiful. We will def be back!
