At 207 square feet, Bungalow #3 is the smallest unit in the Anna Cabana complex — and the most honest about what it is. You're not paying for space you won't use. You're 100 yards from the Gulf, steps from a heated pool, and within a five-minute walk of more good restaurants than most guests can get to in a week.

Built in 1950 as part of the original Old Florida beach resort, the bones are authentic and the updates are current. The bedroom area is generously sized for a studio. The bathroom is notably spacious — larger than Bungalow #1 — with a walk-in shower and generous closet storage. High ceilings and smart design make the space feel larger than the square footage suggests.

Bungalow #3 has a mini-kitchen — mini refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker — not a full kitchen. Worth knowing before you book. It's designed for guests who plan to spend their days at the beach and their evenings at Anna Maria Island's restaurants rather than cooking. Grab coffee at Anna Maria Beach Cafe. Breakfast at Rod and Reel Pier. Lunch at Blue Marlin.
Dinner at Bridge Street Bistro. All of them are within a five-to-ten minute walk and all of them have been recommended by previous guests who figured out the same rhythm.

Outside, a dedicated outdoor seating area with table, chairs, sun umbrella, and a wooden swing gives this unit its own outdoor space — different from the private patios of units 1, 2, and 4, but genuinely enjoyable. Weber grill access is included.

The heated pool is steps away, shared among the four Anna Cabana bungalows and consistently quiet — guests report having it entirely to themselves.
The outdoor shower handles post-beach cleanup. Beach chairs, umbrella, and beach towels are all provided — grab them and cross the street.

The Gulf beach is 100 yards away. Skinny's Place is less than five minutes on foot. Manatee Public Beach and Anna Maria Beach Cafe are five minutes. Publix and Walgreens are within easy walking distance. The free island trolley stops steps away.

Guests consistently report not needing their car for the entire week — and some stay for 28 days on exactly that basis.

Anna Cabana Bungalow #3 requires a one-week minimum stay. Not pet-friendly.

You are vacationing in a residential area, please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property. Quiet hours are observed from 10 PM to 7 AM.

A piece of heaven!

"The Bungalow was amazing. Cute, clean and 2 minutes from the Beach! The pool was dreamy the photos do not do justice! Perfect for solo or a romantic getaway for a couple! If you want to cook on your vacation ( which I doubt!!) This one does not have kitchen but mini fridge for your drinks and fruit. If you want to work on your vacation you need to use the table outside no desk inside but do you really want to work?!!!! They have internet and huge TV :-)NA Peaceful great location next to beach and restaurants and stores!

Cozy Perfect

"Place was very clean, cozy for 2. Had pretty much everything that we needed. Host was very accomodating, and extremely responsive to our needs. The place is very well maintained and the pool in the back is a plus, little oasis. Location was fantastic , and walking distance to pretty much everything that you want to do. The beach is literally at the end of the street, and is in a very private area and is quiet. Cant wait to stay here again.

Great place to stay

"It was perfect. It is a house that has been split into 4 vrbo rental properties. It was very clean and nicely landscaped the hammocks and porch swinging chairs were so relaxing with the breeze and the ocean sounds and smell. And the pool was very nice we had the place to ourselves and loved it! But we talked and It would be perfect for a bringing our whole family because all four of the rooms are connected. It was a great location walking distance or a short free trolley ride to anywhere on the island. ��️ Very beautiful place we will definitely be back!

"This little bungalow is great! It was clean and was very close to the beach . The pool around back was nice. It is set up nicely so you still have your privacy. Only downfall is no kitchen. But if you like to eat out a lot.. and only 2 people ..it’s perfect. We made it work.

Perfect cozy space

"This bungalow is in a great location. It is a very short block to the beach entrance. I walked there usually. I had rent a golf cart for the week which came in very handy. Especially the days I carried many items to the beach such as umbrella, beach chairs, inner tube and beach towel. All these were available in the unit.

The unit itself is decorated very nicely. The bed was super comfy and the bed linens were great. The unit is fairly small but for 1 or 2 people it is just fine. There is a microwave and mini fridge. There is a Mr. Coffee maker. They did have some filters in the room but no coffee. I did buy a bag at Publix. Making 1 cup of coffee in the big pot was not the most convenient but I managed. If you get in late, either bring coffee or you can walk to the Beach Cafe at the Manatee Beach area pavilion. (It was lousy coffee though)

The
TV has Spectrum cable about 20 channels including the major networks. It is not a smart tv with Netflix, etc. No big deal. I was at the beach until 8:30 pm each evening watching the incredible sunsets.

The other larger units have back patios facing the pool. This unit does not but a quick walk around the corner to it. Lots of pool noodles available.

The grounds and landscaping of this property are gorgeous and keep it quite hidden and shady.

I give it a thumbs up and I will stay here again.

Nice Locationand Excellent rental

"The bungalow 3 had everything we needed for the beach just a block away; beach chairs and umbrella. There were just two of us so the size of the bungalow was enough. Every time we went to the pool, it was like we had our own private pool. The location put us like halfway from Pine street on one end Bridge street on the other. The property was spotless upon arrival and the customer service was there if needed. Would definitely recommend these bungalows. We went to the Mote aquarium which was very enjoyable with the wife. Recommend the Bridge Street Bistro, the Shore restaurant, the Blue Marlin, Vinny’s Italian, The Rod and Reel Pier for breakfast, and the Coffee Shack for your morning brew.

Smaller than expected but close to everything

First Vacation In AMI

"The property was located great. It was in roughly the center of the island. Manatee beach was a 5 minute walk. Skinny's restaurant was less than 5minutes away. The heated pool was very welcome. The weather was great. There was only rain for about two hours in the entire week. We have told a neighbor about AMI and they will be there with two other couples this coming week and the next. They had made arrangements before we returned from our vacation. Their vacation in Gasparilla Island had been cancelled due to the hurricane.

we will consider coming to AMI again. For 36 years we have been going to marathon in the Keys.

thank you for all you did and we were very happy especially with The Freckled Fin.

A wonderful stay at Anna Cabana 3

"Loved everything about our first stay at Anna Cabana #3. Our studio was fully equipped with anything you could need for a beach vacation! There were two beach chairs, a beach blanket and a cooler bag for snacks! The unit itself was adorably decorated and efficiently designed. There was also an outdoor space for our unit with a grill, a table and chairs with sun umbrella and even a wooden swing!
Anna Cabana is very conveniently located as well. Walking distance to shopping, dining at Skinny’s and most importantly, beautiful Holmes Beach! We were also just steps away from two trolley stops. The Anna Maria Trolley service is free and can take you anywhere on the island.
All in all, we had an awesome time at Anna Cabana and can’t wait to return!

Perfect Sisters’Getaway

"Everything was superb, from our sweet, beachy cabana, to our quiet table for two, where we enjoyed our breakfast each morning (and on the swing), getting to enjoy the beautiful pool area surrounded by lush, tropical foliage, and making the short walk to the beach to catch some rays and be lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean’s waves lapping the white sands make our entire time perfect. We could not have enjoyed it more! And working with Island Vacation Properties was so pleasant! They were so accomodating and quick to take care of our needs. We would definitely book again!

Convenient Location!

"We had a wonderful stay at AnnaCabana! Our Bungalow was small, as described, but well appointed & super convenient. It was close to Publix, Walgreens, souvenir shops and, most importantly, the Beach! The pool was private and clean. The room was quiet and the staff were easily reached with any questions. Although we had a rental car, one was not necessary due to the island’s free trolley nearby. Anna Maria Island is beautiful with amazing restaurants. A fantastic place to unwind!

Location is a Plus/Cleanliness not so much

"I was very pleased with the location but not so happy with the cleanliness of the unit. The shower curtain liner had mold/mildew on it (big area). Also the cords to the TV/cable/internet looked to be a fire hazard. It had stated in the rental agreement at least one roll of toilet paper would be provided but that was not the case. When we arrived after a 12 hr trip we found out the hard way. I would love to attach photos but I don’t see where I can do that in this survey.

Cute and Cozy!!

"We rented this along with the rest of the Anna Cabana bungalows for the wedding party for my daughters wedding. It worked out perfectly! This bungalow was one bedroom with its own huge shower/bathroom. No kitchen, but we didn't need it there's so many restaurants within walking distance or you can use the free island trolley system!! Great place to stay!!

"Very nice resort. The room was bright and clean! The bed was very comfortable! The landscape and the pool area gave you a lot of privacy! Close to everything and you do not need a car! There is only one recommendation and that is to check the refrigerator! It did not get very cold! Thanks

Cute Place!

"Cute Place! Absolutely beautiful pool! Cute room, nicely landscaped property with lush plants & hammocks. Great people staying there the week we were there. Coffee maker was covered in heavy dust when we arrived, but we just cleaned it before using- also hair dryer was missing from box under the vanity, but I only needed it one evening. Good location, very near beach. We really enjoyed our stay.
