Step out of the king bedroom directly onto your private patio. The heated pool is right there — shared among the four Anna
Cabana bungalows, surrounded by tropical landscaping, and consistently warm. The outdoor shower is around the corner for rinsing off after beach days. This is the flow guests describe as heaven — bedroom to patio to pool to beach, all within a few steps.
The 507-square-foot layout is more spacious than Bungalow #1, with a generous bedroom, a full kitchen with updated appliances, and a private patio at 12'6" x 17'2" — large enough for dining, lounging, and genuinely living outside. Built in 1950 as a classic Old Florida beach resort, the bones and character are original.

The king bed earns consistent praise from guests. The bathroom is more spacious than Bungalow #1. The kitchen is fully equipped with full-size appliances, water purifier system, and everything needed for meals at home. The living area has a pull-out sofa for a third guest, 1-gig WiFi, and a flat-screen TV. Beach chairs, and beach towels are all provided — grab them and head across the street.

The Gulf beach is 100 yards away — less than a two-minute walk. Skinny's Place is three minutes on foot. Manatee Public Beach and Anna Maria Beach Cafe are five minutes. Publix grocery is 400 yards. The free Anna Maria Island trolley stops nearby. Guests consistently report not needing their car for the entire week.

Guests have been returning to Bungalow #2 for up to 11 consecutive years. Some book the same week every year before they've checked out of the current one. The 2025 renovation gives them something new to come back to — the location is why they never left.

Shared laundry facilities are available on-site. Parking is included.

Anna Cabana Bungalow #2 requires a one-week minimum stay. Not pet-friendly.

*Final payments are due 60 days prior to arrival payable by personal check or Echeck (which will incur a $1.00 processing fee) we do take
credit cards for final payment with a 3% fee on the balance due.

You are vacationing in a residential area, please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property. Quiet hours are observed from 10 PM to 7 AM.

Hidden Gem

"This is our 2nd stay in this complex, this time in a different Bungalow. Steps to the beach. Bikeable to many areas. We love that is so quiet in the backyard of the complex. With only 4 units there is privacy at the pool area. Thoughtfully, every unit has their own outside area fenced in with a table and front area with private adirondack chairs and a swing.Chaise lounges for everyone. Unit was spotless

Wonderful Vacation

"Anna Cabana #2 was perfect for me and my husband. It was very clean and updated. The kitchen was very well equipped--I did do a little cooking while I was there. They owner/management really thought of everything. The landscaping, outdoor seating, nice Weber grill, and of course the pool area is beautiful. We were there the last week of July during an unusual heatwave. The AC could not keep up during the hottest few hours each afternoon, but that is to be expected when the temps hit mid 90s. It's just something for folks coming from cooler areas to keep in mind when picking a time of year to visit. We loved this property and would absolutely stay here again. We've been coming to the island for 10 years and this is definitely one of our favorite stays.

Peaceful retreat

Wonderful stay

"Booked last minute. Pictures are exactly true. This was a wonderful place. Place was clean and had everything you need. Close to beach, restaurants and stores. Pool area was beautiful and relaxing. We arrived earlier then check in and property management company was so accommodating. They checked to see if place was clean and allowed us in early. Definitely would stay here again.

Anna Cabaña Island getaway

"My wife and I came to AMI at the recommendation of a couple of my coworkers and didn't know what to expect, in fact every time someone asked us where we were going and we said Anna Maria Island most responded with "where?" , or "never heard of it!" After staying for a week we can truly say it is a hidden gem. The Anna cabana bungalow #2 was perfect for us, it was clean and updated with plenty of space for two. We were literally a few short steps to the pool and an effortless walk from door to ocean. The outdoor patio was nice and the outdoor shower was a very welcome amenity. We can't overstate how perfect the location is. Three out of the four bungalows were occupied but you wouldn't even have known as the property does a good job of giving you your own private space. The only issue we experienced is that our air conditioner stopped working halfway through our stay but Island Vacation Properties had it fixed within 24 hours and we were able to stay in bungalow #1 (also a great bungalow albeit a little more cozy, and at the time of this review the pics for bungalow #1 don't account for the numerous updates they did to that unit) for a night until it was repaired. Overall we were very pleased with our stay on AMI and at the Anna Cabana Bungalows, we will definitely be back on the island and wouldn't hesitate to stay in any of the bungalows at Anna Cabana. What are you waiting for?! Stop reading an book already!!

Summer Getaway

"The weather was beautiful, Anna Cabana 2 was very nice. we really enjoyed the outdoor shower and how we can step out of the unit to the patio and to the pool. Close to the beach, easy walk, close to Skinny's and far enough away from the public beach to be able to get a good spot to put up our Cool Cabana (check it out) and have a great day at the beach. Parking was great. They could trip the palm tree that blocks the walk.

"This is the second time that we have stayed in Anna cabana 2. Both times we have had a wonderful experience. The bungalow is is fully stocked for everything you need for a beach vacation. The only thing I wish was the washer and dryer would’ve worked properly.

First time on AMI

"This was our first time visiting AMI and we were not disappointed. I can’t imagine seeking out another location other than Anna Cabana Bungalow #2.
We were fortunate in finding this cozy little bungalow. Beach, restaurants and shops were all within walking distance. The bungalow was clean and supplied with everything you should need. The pool was fabulous. Thankfully, no rain the 10 days we stayed here. The only negatives we have is that the washing machine broke down over the weekend and we had to go to a laundromat and also those creepy Palmetto bugs found their way inside but I guess they’re everywhere in Florida. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would request this unit again in a heartbeat

"We stayed for 1 week at Anna Cabana Bungalow 2 and it was perfect. Location was great , easy access to beach, within walking distance to Publix and numerous stores. Bungalow was very clean , equipped with updated appliances and great decorations. Bed was very comfortable and overall the place is small and cozy .

"We have been lucky to spend a number of vacations at Anna Cabanas 2 and 4. The location is fantastic; close to beach, stores and restaurants. The units are always clean and well stocked with linens and kitchen items. The pool is such a bonus! We plan to continue renting at this location.

Family Holiday

"This was the second time that my wife and I have stayed in Bungalow #2. We had family members in #3 and #4 this time around. Unit 2 is perfect for a couple. Unit 4 is perfect for a small family. Unit 3 is a challenge without access to one of the other units but could work for a single or a couple who may not need access to a kitchen. The property is peaceful and so close to so many activities, including the beach. We would all stay there again without hesitation.

"What a little paradise! It was heaven walking out of the bedroom onto our private patio. We'd drape our towels over the clean white fence and glide into the crystal clear pool. We enjoyed having the pool to ourselves several times during our stay, but when the other bungalow guests joined us, it was very pleasant meeting them and sharing recommendations for dining and activities. The king sized bed was comfy, the kitchen appliances seemed brand new ( loved the water purifier system in frig), and the parking space was just out the front door. MANATEE BEACH with the ANNA MARIA BEACH CAFE are just a 5 minute walk away and not to be missed. Our dream is to return to AMI next spring with the whole family and fill up all 4 bungalows!

Enjoyable Stay

"This was our eleventh year at Anna Cabana spending a month in either #4 or #2. We love the accommodations, the pool, easy access to the beach and warm, sunny weather. The grill, new swing and well-kept grounds add to the enjoyment of the property. Proximity to Publix, Skinny’s and Beach Cafe are also pluses .

Good Location

"The location was everything for this property, as for the amenities especially for the beach they were scattered between the other units so we didn’t know which ones were ours so we just rented our own. The property could be better maintained and could have been cleaned better. I’m unsure if I would recommend this property to a friend, once again the location is what made this place.

"Perfect location. Less than 1 minute walk to the beach entrance which is right across the street. Place was clean. Since we visited in Dec/Jan the heated pool was a must and the pool temp was perfect for swimming in 60-70 degree air temps. Kids swam all day and night. 3 minute walk to Skinny’s and Beach Cafe’. King mattress was very comfortable. Ample storage for all of our belongings. Outside shower was a huge hit with our kids. Will definitely return!!!

Great get away!

"Beautiful property. Short walk to the beach! Short walk for shopping and Dunkin donuts �� Everything was perfect, couldn't have asked for more. When we stayed there was only one other unit that was occupied, so it was nice quiet and relaxing! The perfect get away!! I have been sharing our experience with friends and family!

Cute and Cozy!!

"We rented this along with the rest of the Anna Cabana bungalows for family and the wedding party for my daughters wedding. It worked out perfectly! This bungalow was one bedroom with a living area and its own bath. Fully stocked kitchen with almost everything you'd need! Direct access to the pool and outdoor dining! Pull out sofa came in handy! You won't be disappointed!!

"Island Vacation Properties exceeded my expectations during the Covid19. I will always rent from them when visiting Anna Maria Island! We were excited to stay at Anna Cabana#2 because we had seen the location and pool the prior year. We were alittle disappointed with how dark the unit was and the landscape was so overgrown it was in the walkways. We will choose a different rental next time. I don't want to be too negative because the untrimmed landscape could have been the result of businesses being closed due to Covid19. We were the first renters when Properties were able to open. Other than a few minor things our overall experience was excellent:)
