Ginny’s and Jane E’s is an American café that’s easy to overlook. Located on 9807 Gulf Drive, the café offers American cuisine from 7am – 4pm daily. A great place for breakfast and lunch, you’ll find a splendid menu with specialty drinks (Italian macchiatos are a local favorite) along with a variety of milk options:

But this café, while known for its tasty coffee and free refills, also offers a very affordable option for food. You’ll find that breakfast can include items as simple as a bagel or a great-tasting egg with cheddar sandwich.
Skillets, pancakes, crème Brulee French toast and a slew of other items are on the menu.
Lunch includes a variety of soups and salads along with hamburgers, chicken Reuben sandwiches, Philly cheesesteaks and more.
There’s also an on-site bakery that includes delectable homemade pies, desserts and cakes – don’t forget the sticky buns.

2. French Table
French Table is a short drive from our Anna Maria Island pet-friendly rentals, and is located at 103 Gulf Drive North in Bradenton Beach. French Table is a dinner-only option that is open from 5pm to 9pm Monday through Saturday.
The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with beautiful wooden tables and an oversized clock is reminiscent of France.
The restaurant does close on holidays, so you’ll want to check ahead of time to ensure that they’re open. We do recommend reserving a table on Open Table because French Table is a very popular restaurant for locals and tourists alike.
The French menu is filled with seafood options, including Moules a la Crème, Pates Carbonara, Coq au vin and a variety of other options.
If you’re looking for a cheap place to eat, French Table may not be for you. Most of the entrees are between $18 – $28, but it offers a great atmosphere for couples and families. The restaurant offers ambient music and a variety of French wines to try.
The owners grew up in the Southwest of France and have brought the same traditional cooking of France to Anna Maria Island. You’ll find that the restaurant works with only local markets to ensure that they have the freshest products possible.

If you’re willing to spend a little more on dinner, French Table is a restaurant you must try.
3. Smoqehouse
Smoqehouse can be found on 1701 Gulf Dr. N in Bradenton Beach. A rustic eatery with a small menu, this is your go-to sandwich shop. If you don’t feel like leaving your rental, you also have the option of ordering from the menu on Doordash.
You’ll find a different vibe at this establishment than others.
The music is upbeat and the ambience will brighten up your day. Super clean, even in the bathroom, Smoqehouse is open 11am to 8pm every day of the week except Sunday when the restaurant is closed.
You’ll find an array of soups, salads and delightful sandwiches to choose from.
From the moment you walk in the door, you’ll smell the aroma of smoked meat. The Cuban is a favorite, with low carb and gluten-free options available on the menu, too. If you’re in the mood for something different, the brisket burger is a great choice.
The fries are also “awesome,” according to guests.
If you want to try local beers, you’ll find a nice selection of local brews available. Smoqehouse is the perfect, laid-back place to go out for a bite to eat when you’re in Anna Maria Island. You’ll also find the staff to be very friendly and the prices very affordable.
