The Heron unit at the Blue Dolphin Inn, located at 404 Alamanda in the Historic Village of Anna Maria is a wonderful two bedroom, two bath upstairs unit furnished in a tropical theme. The Blue Dolphin Inn consists of four units surrounding a free style heated pool with fountains and nearby tiki table. The Blue Dolphin Inn is located about one block from the beach access path and it's just a short stroll to the Rod and Reel Pier for fishing enthusiasts. It's nestled away in a tropical paradise with many exotic plants and gardens. Each of the four units has its own private patio and gas grill for an evening of relaxation. If you want to be the envy of all of your friends, send them photos from the two rooftop observatories located on each building at the Blue Dolphin Inn. You'll want to linger there for awhile and take in the panoramic Anna Maria views!
The Heron unit features an covered deck area just outside the living room as well as a private patio area with a charcoal grill specific to this unit. There is also a shared gas grill at poolside. Many new upgrades to this unit such as new carpeting, paint and all new linens have made it even more comfortable and pleasant.
This unit will sleep six with a queen size bed, two twin beds and a sofa bed. Every conceivable amenity is provided for your enjoyment and comfort including wireless high speed internet access with expanded cable and free domestic long distance calling. New 32" flat screen televisions in the living room and 32" televisions in both bedrooms complete the package. There are two DVD players and there is even a DVD video library for relaxing after a day at the beach or pool. There is a full size washer and dryer in the unit for your use.
For larger groups up to twenty six, you can rent any of the other three units at the Blue Dolphin Inn.
This property requires a $500.00 deposit for weekly reservations and $1000.00 deposit for monthly reservations. This deposit is paid by credit card and does apply toward the final balance of the rent.
Parking is limited to two cars.
Our rentals will generally run from Saturday to Saturday, especially during very busy months and over holidays.
Rates do vary over throughout the year and are calculated at higher rates during our busiest months of March and July as well as the holiday weeks of Easter, July 4th, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
RENTAL DOWN PAYMENT: Weekly reservations require a $500.00 nonrefundable rental down payment. There are a few higher end properties that do require a minimum $1000.00 nonrefundable rental down payment. Reservations of 28 days or more require a $1000.00 rental down payment. If you are renting multiple units within a complex or duplex a $1000.00 rental down payment is required. These rental down payments are required to confirm your reservation but are applied toward your final payment. All payments are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. Each reservation requires a $75.00 non-refundable processing fee. Final payments are due 60 days prior to arrival. For your convenience we now accept E-checks which will incur a $1.00 processing fee. You can also send a personal check or pay by credit card which will incur a 3% convenience fee.
SECURITY DEPOSITS: There are two options:
1. You can purchase the Vacation Rental Damage Protection for $50.00 when making your reservation. More information can be found at www.vacationrentalinsurance.com/g10vrd
2. You can pay a $1500.00 Security Deposit that will be refunded to you two weeks after you check out and the property is inspected to ensure that no damages have occurred.
Travel Insurance is available by CSA Travel Protection for United States residents only. It is automatically calculated and added to your contract on the day of reservation. Travel Insurance offers protection against loss of deposits and rent in case of unforeseen illness, accident, jury duty or adverse weather that stops travel. Questions concerning CSA Travel Protection can be answered by calling 866-999-4018, or reviewing the certificate of insurance on their website at: www.csatravelprotection.com/certpolicy.do?product=G-330CSA. Waiving (declining) travel insurance is accepted by forwarding your request in writing to Island Vacation Properties within 10 days of receipt of the rental documents. To protect against the loss of your rental payment and deposit, travel insurance is strongly recommended. Some landlords require a higher deposit if travel insurance is declined.
NOISE ORDINANCE: Anna Maria Island has a zero tolerance for noise after 9 PM. Please show consideration for your neighbors. No loud music, parties or playing in pools after 9 PM. If a neighbor complains the Police Department has no choice but to file a complaint. Any tickets issued by the police department for noise violations will be the responsibility of the guest and may result in immediate eviction with no refunds of rent or deposits.
