The Blue Dolphin Inn, located at 780 Jacaranda and 404 Alamanda in the tranquil City of Anna Maria features four units surrounding a tropical heated pool with tiki huts, grills, rooftop observation decks and loads of charm. Each unit has its own private patio and charcoal grill for an evening of relaxation. There is even a gas grill at poolside for your use. Every conceivable amenity is provided for your enjoyment and comfort.

Each of the four units is fully and comfortably furnished. The Flamingo is a three bedroom, two bath upstairs unit that sleeps eight. The Heron is a two bedroom, two-bath upstairs unit that sleeps six and the Ibis and Skimmer units are each ground level two bedrooms and one bath. The Ibis and the Skimmer will each sleep six. The entire complex will sleep twenty six people! Both the Heron and Flamingo units have washers and dryers in the units. The Skimmer and Ibis units both have their own private onsite laundry rooms.

New upgrades include new wireless internet with free domestic long distance calling and new flat screen televisions in each living room as well as televisions in all bedrooms. There is even a video library onsite for your use. This is a perfect, island getaway for groups up to twenty six. For fishing enthusiasts, the legendary Rod and Reel Pier is a two block stroll down Alamanda. For the beach goers, the beach access path is 25 yards down Jacaranda.

The Blue Dolphin Inn is a hub for many island activities! The heated pool area is one of a kind with dolphin waterfalls and tiki huts. If you are hosting a wedding or a family reunion or just want a romantic getaway, it doesn't get any better than the Blue Dolphin Inn.

Parking is limited to nine vehicles.

Our rentals will generally run from Saturday to Saturday, especially during very busy months and over holidays.

Rates do vary over throughout the year and are calculated at higher rates during our busiest months of March and July as well as the holiday weeks of Easter, July 4th, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

RENTAL DOWN PAYMENT: Weekly reservations require a $500.00 nonrefundable rental down payment. There are a few higher end properties that do require a minimum $1000.00 nonrefundable rental down payment. Reservations of 28 days or more require a $1000.00 rental down payment. If you are renting multiple units within a complex or duplex a $1000.00 rental down payment is required. These rental down payments are required to confirm your reservation but are applied toward your final payment. All payments are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. Each reservation requires a $75.00 non-refundable processing fee. Final payments are due 60 days prior to arrival. For your convenience we now accept E-checks which will incur a $1.00 processing fee. You can also send a personal check or pay by credit card which will incur a 3% convenience fee.
SECURITY DEPOSITS: There are two options:
1. You can purchase the Vacation Rental Damage Protection for $50.00 when making your reservation. More information can be found at
2. You can pay a $1500.00 Security Deposit that will be refunded to you two weeks after you check out and the property is inspected to ensure that no damages have occurred.

Travel Insurance is available by CSA Travel Protection for United States residents only. It is automatically calculated and added to your contract on the day of reservation. Travel Insurance offers protection against loss of deposits and rent in case of unforeseen illness, accident, jury duty or adverse weather that stops travel. Questions concerning CSA Travel Protection can be answered by calling 866-999-4018, or reviewing the certificate of insurance on their website at: Waiving (declining) travel insurance is accepted by forwarding your request in writing to Island Vacation Properties within 10 days of receipt of the rental documents. To protect against the loss of your rental payment and deposit, travel insurance is strongly recommended. Some landlords require a higher deposit if travel insurance is declined.

NOISE ORDINANCE: Anna Maria Island has a zero tolerance for noise after 9 PM. Please show consideration for your neighbors. No loud music, parties or playing in pools after 9 PM. If a neighbor complains the Police Department has no choice but to file a complaint. Any tickets issued by the police department for noise violations will be the responsibility of the guest and may result in immediate eviction with no refunds of rent or deposits.
