The Captain Billy Fulford House is a rare five bedroom, three and one half bath home located at 4523 123rd Street West in the Historic Village of Cortez. This wonderful, old home features a 20' x 40' private, heated pool. Built in 1907, this 105 year old home is a wonderful piece of living history. Deep sea and inland fishing are practically on your doorstep. Enjoy the charm of Cortez Village, an active fishing village since the turn of the century. The Captain Billy Fulford Home is located two houses from the bay and one mile from the beautiful beaches of Anna Maria Island. It's also located within walking distance to the Star Fish Company, one of the top rated Seafood restaurants in the entire country by Travel and Leisure Magazine.

The Captain Billy Fulford home is one of a kind and affordably priced. Comparable homes on Anna Maria Island just one mile away would be easily in the $4000 - $6000 per week range.

This very large home has been lovingly renovated and features a screened porch overlooking the pool area, a den, large laundry room with a full size washer and dryer, spacious eat-in kitchen, great room, large dining area and seating for fourteen. The large covered front porch is a great place to while away the hours with a good book and cold drink. The very large heated pool is newly resurfaced and a brand new pool deck has been installed with paver bricks.

There is a handicapped accessible bathroom on the ground level with a roll in shower. The front of the home is ramped as well for easy access.

The Captain Billy Fulford Home will sleep fourteen. The downstairs bedroom has a queen size bed. One of the upstairs bedrooms has two twin beds and a trundle bed, one has a queen size bed and the fourth and fifth bedroom have king size beds. There is a sofa bed in the living room as well.
There is a 37" television in the living room with a DVD player. Two of the bedrooms have small televisions as well. Wireless high speed internet with the expanded cable package and free domestic long distance calling is provided.

Two small dogs under 25 pounds are permitted with a $150.00 non-refundable pet fee per pet. No cats please!.

The Captain Billy Fulford Home is a one week minimum rental.

Parking is limited to five vehicles.

RENTAL DOWN PAYMENT: Weekly reservations require a $500.00 nonrefundable rental down payment. There are a few higher end properties that do require a minimum $1000.00 nonrefundable rental down payment. Reservations of 28 days or more require a $1000.00 rental down payment. If you are renting multiple units within a complex or duplex a $1000.00 rental down payment is required. These rental down payments are required to confirm your reservation but are applied toward your final payment. All payments are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. Each reservation requires a $75.00 non-refundable processing fee. Final payments are due 60 days prior to arrival. For your convenience we now accept E-checks which will incur a $1.00 processing fee. You can also send a personal check or pay by credit card which will incur a 3% convenience fee.
SECURITY DEPOSITS: There are two options:
1. You can purchase the Vacation Rental Damage Protection for $50.00 when making your reservation. More information can be found at www.vacationrentalinsurance.com/g10vrd
2. You can pay a $1500.00 Security Deposit that will be refunded to you two weeks after you check out and the property is inspected to ensure that no damages have occurred.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Travel Insurance is available by CSA Travel Protection for United States residents only. It is automatically calculated and added to your contract on the day of reservation. Travel Insurance offers protection against loss of deposits and rent in case of unforeseen illness, accident, jury duty or adverse weather that stops travel. Questions concerning CSA Travel Protection can be answered by calling 866-999-4018, or reviewing the certificate of insurance on their website at: www.csatravelprotection.com/certpolicy.do?product=G-330CSA. Waiving (declining) travel insurance is accepted by forwarding your request in writing to Island Vacation Properties within 10 days of receipt of the rental documents. To protect against the loss of your rental payment and deposit, travel insurance is strongly recommended. Some landlords require a higher deposit if travel insurance is declined.

NOISE ORDINANCE: Anna Maria Island has a zero tolerance for noise after 9 PM. Please show consideration for your neighbors. No loud music, parties or playing in pools after 9 PM. If a neighbor complains the Police Department has no choice but to file a complaint. Any tickets issued by the police department for noise violations will be the responsibility of the guest and may result in immediate eviction with no refunds of rent or deposits.
