“Almost” a native, I was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio but came to Anna Maria in 1968. I have been in the real estate field since the mid 1980’s dealing with Property Management and Rental Management the entire time. I opened Island Vacation Properties, LLC in 2000.
I have two sons, four step children and 12 (almost 13) grandchildren. Certainly enough to keep me busy!

I was born in South Bend Indiana in 1959 and spent the first 44 years of life there. Several of my neighbors and friends had relocated to this area for various reasons. After many years of asking me to come here for a visit and having never been to Florida before I decided to make a trip here in 2003. As soon as I arrived here I knew that this should be my new home. I returned to Indiana put my home up for sale and then left my job of 27 years and have been here since 2004. Some of my favorite things here are all of the friendly people on the Island and the great places to eat.

A true Florida "cracker", born in Clearwater, Florida. My parents relocated to Ohio when I was two years old. At 12, we relocated to the heartland state of Iowa, remaining there until I was 25 years old, then off to the Lone Star state of Texas! I spent 5 years in San Antonio enjoying the "riverwalk" and the Spanish culture as well as working for a major medical company specializing in hospital beds for burn patients and spinal cord injuries. I then joined my Mother who had retired here to Florida. Now it's 20 years later "working in paradise" and enjoying the beautiful sunsets on Anna Maria Island. Who could ask for anything more?

I was born in Des Moines, Iowa and moved to Bradenton 20 years ago with my family. I became a beach bunny the moment I stepped foot on Anna Maria Island. Now, I have three wonderful children whose favorite pastime is enjoying the beautiful beaches of Anna Maria Island too! I took a career turn from nursing and started with Island Vacation Properties three years ago. I enjoyed working with the IVP family so much that I decided to get my Florida Real Estate license to continue my opportunities in the vacation rental industry and enjoy Florida's best kept secret each and every day!

I was born in Philadelphia, graduated from Abington High School in 1971 and traveled around the United States until settling in Northern Virginia and attending college in Annandale. In April 1978 relocated to Clearwater, Florida and enjoyed the Tampa Bay area until by chance in 1989 I was invited to visit the island and within a month, I had purchased a home and began the fantasy. I started a successful flooring business and raised two children here in paradise. In 2000, I was lucky to join Ann when she opened Island Vacation Properties and have been here ever since. In 2009, I married my wife Jenny, who along with her two wonderful children expanded our family to six and my island life gets better with each and every day. It is a real blessing and incredibly fun and rewarding to help people find or revisit our piece of heaven on the west coast of Florida. We have so many wonderful things to do and see and the folks here are down right friendly and happy to lend a hand any way they can. Come visit us soon and you’ll become a believer too! |

I was born in Presque Isles, Maine. My parents relocated to Ft. Myers, Florida when I was two years old. This is a good thing because I freeze when the temperature drops below 70 degrees! I moved to Longboat Key 26 years ago where I raised two wonderful boys. In 1998 I moved across the bridge to Anna Maria Island where I work and play. I love boating, fishing and most anything to do with this fabulous Island I call home. |

Born and raised in Maine, my wife, Dantia and I moved to Anna Maria Island in 1999 after vacationing here for several years. In 2002, we sold our 20 year old publishing business and my wife retired. I got my real estate license and joined Island Vacation Properties in the fall of 2002. I developed a specialty of helping investors find and purchase run down multi-unit vacation apartments or small resorts and converting them into condominiums. Up through 2006 there did not seem to be a shortage of buyers for these units and other island properties. I have been instrumental in over $75 million in real estate sales transactions and I feel the worst is over for the Anna Maria Island market. My wife and I are blessed to have five married children and twelve grandchildren. |

I am a second generation Florida cracker. My husband Bill grew up in Holmes Beach and has been a business owner on Anna Maria Island for quite a few years. Together we have four boys ranging from 8 to 17 that keep us pretty busy! It’s never a dull moment. I have been with Island Vacation Properties in the rental department since 2006. I really enjoy helping people find the right “home away from home” while here on Anna Maria Island. I love the small beach community atmosphere of our seven miles of paradise.

My husband and I visited Florida for the first time in July, 1975. It was very different from Buffalo and we said we would never live in Florida, however we moved here 7 years ago and love living in paradise. The fishing and the beaches are the best. The day after I arrived in Florida I stopped to visit Ann about our condo that she managed. I tried out the receptionist chair. It fit and I started working for Island Vacation Properties. I did go on to get my real estate license and became a full time property manager. Working here is never boring and I enjoy meeting guests from all over the US and from around the world.

I was born and raised in Northfield, Minnesota and grew up on a dairy farm. After becoming a history teacher in the mid 1960’s I taught history and economics for four years. At that point I joined Schwans Sales Enterprises, Inc. in Marshall, Minnesota and remained there until retirement in 1994. At that time I moved to Anna Maria Island and bought and sold investment properties.
I have one daughter who lives in Alexandria, Minnesota and two wonderful granddaughters.
